I remember this match...Luton had (revolutionary at the time) had cut the pitch in circles from the centre spot.

I went to this game being based in London made it a relatively straightforward journey. Your report reminds me of what a strange game it was, going 'to and fro' with chances for both teams. I was stood down the side right behind where 'Taffy' picked up the ball before scoring the equaliser. As soon as it left his foot I could see it was beating their keeper. I was 20 years old, too, but had a simple journey back to South West London to continue my studies.
