He was on the bench for one of the FA Cup matches.

Burnley seem to have this odd thing with names. For example our manager is listed as Sean Mark Dyche on the Premier League team-sheet, Berg now seems to have been dropped from Gudmundssons name and Anthony Glennon’s name always listed as Driscoll-Glennon outside the club.

So if there’s a double-barrel name, I always check. But he’ll wear Gomez on his shirt if he plays.

I’ve only seen him the once and that was in the game when we outplayed by Leeds but others who have seen him have been impressed.

He's through the first test. With all the budgetary restrictions we can't afford to waste a penny so he he is already doing well.

Watched him play in the online U23 game against Leeds. Certainly has a good presence and ability, but obviously that was at U23 level - I have a good feeling about him though, if he has the drive to succeed he’ll do well.

Overrun that day to be honest, saw very little from him in that game which is the only time I've seen him. But reports from other games have been positive.
