A little game involving past players
The idea is to search online to find out two things about each ex player. The poster first to find the answers gets to nominate the next players name.
In the game, you have to find two facts about the nominated ex player.
1. What they are doing now, if retired or deceased what they last did beforehand. (Professionally)
2. The highlight of their sporting career, doesn't have to be at Burnley. Doesn't have to be as a player.
Each post needs to include a reference URL with proof showing their profession, or at least a believable story behind your answer. You can use Wikipedia to help, but since it's unreliable and often out of date you must instead find a recent source from elsewhere.
The highlight you can find yourself, or think of your own based on a personal memory.
I'll go first.
Nikos Michopoulos
Current profession: Fireman
Sporting highlight: Eliminating Arsenal in the 1st round of the UEFA cup 1997-98 with PAOK

My nomination: Andy Cooke

He did move there to work in group insurance according to Wikipedia, but according to the second link he moved back to the UK in 2011.
The link to the air conditioning company is from his Twitter profile.

Fab! Welcome home, Cookey.
I’d definitely vote for his two goals v Plymouth (with his winner at Derby in second).

Kevin Rooster I believe works as a coach with Rory Delap.
Career highlight knocking West Ham out of the cup at Wrexham. And then playing another 100 games for Wrexham after that.
Jean Louis Valois

Jean Louis Valois was in 2019 still playing football at 45, https://www.reddit.com/r/COYH/comments/ ... all_at_45/ cannot find anything since this though.
Career highlight possibly Scottish player of the month in September 2002, would have been tough then with the teams Celtic and Rangers had in the early 2000s.
Nominate: Gifton Noel Williams

I don't know what Gifton is doing but I'm sure he's doing it very slowly.

Gifton Noel Williams is striker coach at Portsmouth and works for PFA.
He left us for Brighton and played in Spain and the USA before coming out of retirement to end his career in the Southern League in 2015.
What happened to Roger Palmer?
