If you’ve not used it before the first month is free. Just ensure you cancel before the month ends.

Amazon prime is worth every penny. All the tv and free next day delivery on everything. I dont think a day goes by when we dont get a delivery from amazon. My wd40 just came with free next day delivery, better than nipping to the shop :D

Just got my annual renewal notice from Amazon with last year's usage stats
59 prime deliveries.
692 songs played (I have Alexa in the car).
60 prime movies.
For the princely sum of £7.99 a month I would say that represents pretty good value.

Do you know that you can pay up front for £79.00 which gives you 2 months free?
