I was worried I might not get the correct spelling for Wanaka but I think I've managed it.

Thanks as always Tony, and thanks for checking in on the spelling!

I've seen where they are staying for the weekend too - it's no doss house that's for sure. I don't know whether they've got me down for another guest appearance.

I’m keen on this. Couple of good nights out. Now whether I manage to stay in the pub until the game could be a challenge.RammyClaret61 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 24, 2022 10:50 pmHoping for a meet up next season in Melbourne with NZ & Sydney clarets. Travel restrictions pending.

I’m a NZ claret who actually lives in Queenstown, I’ll be down the pig for a pint that Friday but unfortunately can’t join for the whole weekend as have football and work commitments.
Any how thanks for posting on here CT and look forward to meeting some fellow spark sport 4am watchers.

Only if it's still in his comfort zone
I realised after posting the article that his mum & dad were on the picture I used.

We invited them down, but they were in the Middle East supporting Chris at the World Cup Qualifiers
I think the Pig and Whistle were one of the teams they played against!

Hope it’s a good meeting. Just back from Huddersfield with the West Yorkshire Clarets. Perhaps slightly less exotic
