"Doesn’t it just make your weekend when you get a performance like that?"
It certainly does Tony πŸ‘

Yes. Two wide men with real pace and skill. Its a while since we saw that. They tore Swansea apart. Mention to, to our two yiung CB' who are really good players. What great futures they have in front of them.

Another excellent read , Tony .
An excellent all round team performance which unfortunately, even though I have my season ticket,I am unable to get to matches as the trains are so unreliable.
Look forward to your report on the Birmingham and Sunderland games ( Two of the improving teams) which are the next up.

I just watched the replay to confirm it, but the free kick for Cullen's foul on Pirloe, that resulted in the red card, was the last time a Swansea player touched the ball in the Burnley half.
I know we had a man advantage, but still it was so easy those last 18 mins.

For the third goal, Tella was in an offside position and couldn't play it.

That is some stat! Never heard of anything like it before.

I was surprised to see only 52-48% possession in our favour after the way the 2nd half went. Just doesn’t tally with the last 18 mins stat above (not saying it was wrong).

Seeing as no one else is going to say it I will...that read made me question if I have been watching the same Burnley, so negative.

"There have been so many frustrating games this season. Obviously, those where we have conceded late equalisers head that list but at times we’ve looked slow and lacking in ideas how to unlock a defence"

Basically teams doing a Burnley on us. There is not much you can do when 10 men are behind the ball, and even harder when so many new players have been put together. I have enjoyed the new style of play. A move away from defend a 0-0 and hope to nick one, I know which style I would rather watch. Yes certain games have been frustrating but there has also been massive positives in each game of where we are going, the plan if you will
