Good report, Tony. Glad you avoided the accident and that all people involved were unhurt.

Fullbacks need to defend first and foremost, VK reached this conclusion rather too late!
A bad day at the office for him and our supporters, why would they not use their allocated seats? Sounds chaotic both on and off the field.

Unlucky to witness two car crashes in one day.

Thanks Tony, very unsettling when you have a close call on the road....hopefully more plain sailing on and off the pitch going forward

Not the greatest defensive display from us and if we had put away a few more of those first half chances, who knows what the outcome would have been.
From a neutral perspective it was probably the best game of the season in the championship.

Really shocking to hear of your near miss Tony. Glad you escaped it unscathed.
As it happens, I was on the M66 when my son saw your message and I diverted down the M62 so many thanks for thinking to post.
Probably meant I got my breakfast too, which was delicious and the best but of the day as it turned out

Good to hear you and your pals are okay. So many rules and alterations now but I was convinced our first had to be an og. Bad day on the pitch but thankfully everyone is fit and healthy enough to carry on with their lives.

Re: REPORT: Burnley blunted by the Blades
I've nothing to add on the game but having been the person who called the police and the ambulance, I spent some time on the phone yesterday trying to get an update. Thankfully, and amazingly from what I saw, there were no serious injuries. That means the police involvement is over so the woman who caused it will now have got away with what she did. The two cars involved will be written off but so pleased to hear that the two people involved didn't suffer anything serious although I was really concerned at the time about the driver of the other vehicle.
Re: REPORT: Burnley blunted by the Blades
Glad you mentioned the stewarding and ticketing issues in the away end. I spoke to a steward at half time to try to get across how unsafe it was, particularly as I was with my lad. We had to move away from our allocated seats due to overcrowding in our row. We ended up stood in the gangway for the reminder of the game.
The first steward offered to do nothing about the problems apart from ask if I wanted to leave. His supervisor basically shrugged his shoulders and told us to just stand in a gangway. One steward tried to help but there really appeared like there was nothing he could do.

Thanks for the report CT, write it off as a bad day all round, the main thing is nobody was seriously injured in that crash, events like that really put football into perspective.

Hard work for us as well where a HGV was on its side on the roundabout at the end of the M67. We saw there was another crash further on and took a detour which saved us 20mins. Hope all involved were OK.
Thanks for the report
