“the man on the touch line knows what he’s doing” - I bet VK loves this ringing endorsement. :D
Another good report.

I thought it was a penalty too. His right leg was 'tripped' and his left leg was just inside the penalty box when the foul occurred. Expected far better from this referee compared to some we've seen but annoyingly he too was prepared to put up with time wasting of epic proportions from their goalkeeper.

Saw VK'S Post match interview. As Twine stood over the free kick he turned to his coaching staff and said, "this is as good as a penalty". Just when I think this team can't impress me more, they produce a performance like this. Fabulous!!

After we went 2-1 i can't recall a Burnley side ever keeping possession with as much skill and comfort as we managed for most of the remaining time.

The 2 successive drag back/heal flicks from Anass were something else

Just got back home, agree with most of your report CT, even when we fell 1-0 behind I wasn't overly concerned as we have the firepower to respond, although admittedly it did take a while to finally make our pressure tell.

Subs again had an immediate impact, and this is what sets us apart from the rest of the league, when we have the luxury of introducing players of the calibre of Benson, Jay Rod & Twine we'll always carry a threat.

I'd have been reasonably content with a point also, but to bag all 3 at the death was the icing on the cake on a bitterly cold winter's evening.

It’s so much fun to be 1 down with 30 to go and think we’ve easily got this, I’m not worried. What a team!

Last season going 1 down was pretty much game over, this season it's the announcement of a claret and blue storm.
Never concerned anymore

The way we turned up the pressure in that second half was simply an utter joy to watch. Our passing, movement off the ball, pace, inventiveness - sensational.

Thanks Tony for a very good match report, that Scott Twine free kick is something very special.

Superb report Tony on what was a really exhilarating game of football. To take a point from behind against such a strong team would have been an achievement in itself but to win it the way we did is the stuff of legend. I thought the referee and the lino on the Longside were abysmal, couldn't judge the one on the other side but after the game I was so chuffed I wouldn't have changed a thing. Some great stats from the past in your report, and dare I say it, some sound advice to the younger generation.
