I hadn't seen your post but I've just done some googling and it's the only name I could come up with. BUT - no news of him having signed for us and we never name a trialist, which has left me confused.

And Will Hugill is a Claret - was a season ticket holder, so how much will that goal mean to him?

Didn't some Scottish team actually have a striker named A. Triallist? Seen to recall Jeff Stelling making a joke about it every time his name came up on the videoprinter.

Re: ARTICLE: Derby Day for Under-21s
Teams in the lower Scottish leagues often played a number of trialists and they were always listed as A Trialist, B Trialist, C Trialist etc.

Re: ARTICLE: Derby Day for Under-21s
It was - since then we've beaten them 1-0 three times and 3-0 once in the league and 2-0 in the League Cup. So at first team level, since Rhodes scored their goal in 2014, we've scored ten goals against them Shackell, Ings, Arfield, Gray, Cork, Brady, Barnes, Zaroury, Barnes, Benson.claretburns wrote: ↑Tue Oct 24, 2023 3:22 pmAt first team level when was the last time? Was it Rhodes when we beat them 2-1 in 2014?

Re: ARTICLE: Derby Day for Under-21s
Yep. Then he was so happy with the result, he stayed on the pitch past the evening to the end of the light.
The groundsman wasn't happy.
