The no signings we already knew. Good news regarding Jay though.
Now it's JBG and Ben Mee being the 2 major ones we need back.

Re: ARTICLE: Jay Rod back in the reckoning
If JBG is missing, I'd put Brady on the right. Leave Brownhill in the middle.
Re: ARTICLE: Jay Rod back in the reckoning
Was JBG subbed on 81 mins against Belgium because of injury or was it tactical?

Lancs live : Ben Mee won't be fit for Monday, Matt Lowton & Jack Cork also absent. JBG returned from Iceland duty early with a groin complaint but could feature. Jay Rodriguez likely to be involved assuming he comes through the next few days. #twitterclarets https://t.co/oUDYfPqJee

Re: ARTICLE: Jay Rod back in the reckoning
That wide right position is a problem. JBG is to put it mildly , injury prone and shoving Brownhill out there makes us less effective centrally. Lets hope the club's decision to have no cover in that area doesnt come back to bite us.
Re: ARTICLE: Jay Rod back in the reckoning
We've tried Long with Tarks - didn't look good
We've tried Long with Dunne - didn't look good
Get Tarks back on his stronger right hand side with either Peiters or Dunne on the left

Serious muscle tear - was reported when it happened that it could be a lengthy one

And what is Cork's injury that's keeping him out for quite a few more weeks?ClaretTony wrote: ↑Thu Oct 15, 2020 10:53 amSerious muscle tear - was reported when it happened that it could be a lengthy one

If JBG can remain fit, he'll be a massive plus.

That's the thing about our situation. IF we keep our best players fit we should have enough to survive ok.

Re: ARTICLE: Jay Rod back in the reckoning
When Jack Cork returns he might have a fight on his hands to get into the starting 11 ahead of Brownhill.

A massive ask this season to remain injury free - a joke of a club we have become to many

You can, we couldn't fill the Bench! Might happen again if players have to self-isolate or get CovidGodIsADeeJay81 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 15, 2020 11:55 amNot really, it's just a number of fans aren't happy.
You really can't make the claim that the club is a joke after just 3 games.

Re: ARTICLE: Jay Rod back in the reckoning
Just checking - are Man City a joke of a club because they've had to fill their bench with youngsters? They haven't even had a first team striker available for a few games.

They've spent about a billion ££ over the years.Wokingclaret wrote: ↑Thu Oct 15, 2020 12:19 pmRemind me how much they have spent....not our problem
If you're going to say we are a joke but City aren't over the same thing then you're a bit odd.
Re: ARTICLE: Jay Rod back in the reckoning
Not to many. you must have friends or acquaintances who support other clubs around the Football League. Ask them, when they look at BFC, if they are laughing at us and feeling happy that they aren't in our position.
I know you have been disgusted with how things have gone in the last few years. But you are in a minority.
Re: ARTICLE: Jay Rod back in the reckoning
Tarkowski on his best side for me and Brownhill in the middle.
Re: ARTICLE: Jay Rod back in the reckoning
Who are these ‘many’ that we are a joke of a club to ?Wokingclaret wrote: ↑Thu Oct 15, 2020 12:03 pmYou can, we couldn't fill the Bench! Might happen again if players have to self-isolate or get Covid
I don’t think I have heard one pundit, other manager or any other club supporter say that. You seem to have heard ‘many’ ? Pray tell.
The only people we seem to have become a joke to are some of our own deluded fans....and it’s this point that many other people outside of our club will think is the joke.

What is the plan and policy - just keep giving contracts to players until they reach retirement here ?
Where is the planning and what is the policy now and the noise out of the people in charge at Burnley is deafening

Why debate with someone who said what when you have posted you agree with it and spent the last few weeks tearing into the club ?
