Personally I'd keep Ramsey after his performance against Derby. But in Parker we trust. Think Eriksen would be a smart signing as a replacement however if there's truth in that rumour.

What Benfica and Burnley need in midfield are probably very different. Not idea about whether we are getting him but if we are in for him he might be just what we need.

We made plenty of runs particularly during the first half, but no one was able to pick out the right pass. Enter Mike! Delighted for him and Sonne for their goal contributions. And for Ramsey who i thought had a great game. Nice to progress.

I think the plans as a whole look promising. It's good to see investment into the ground and the matchday experience. It might be tailored more to the younger generation but that's okay. It's important for the future that the younger fans (and those further afield) are excited and emotionally invest...

If Tuanzebe and Beyer aren't close to playing then we need another CB. Ridiculous really given the amount of CB's we have in the squad. But Ekdal did look to lack pace on Saturday.

Re: Spuds v Super Clarets Match Thread

Just watched MOTD and it highlights the gap in front of the defence in the build up to each goal. Defensive mids gave no protection. An issue that needs sorting for next time we play 5 at the back. Hopefully Ugochuckwu will help with that.

Seems odd saying this after losing 3-0 but we didn't play badly. Just the difference in quality. That second goal from Richarlison really killed us. We won't concede a goal like that every week. However, I'd like to think if we play like that every week we've got a chance.

On to the next. UTC.
