Already done a long weekend in Wexford, Ireland and two short breaks in Abersoch, Wales.
Off for a weekend in York for the races on the 25th.
Then Vegas for nine nights at the end of August.
Hopefully get a week in Morocco or the Canaries before the end of the year

Not the Canaries but have you considered Morocco as an alternative? We normally do the Canaries in the winter but decided on Taghadzout just north of Agadir in November and loved it. It's similar flying time and tends to be less windy.

I have had 'issues' in the past that are often resolved with a quick phone call to HMRC (if you are happy to hold).
They get a lot of bad press but the actual call handlers can be pretty useful at times.
