And 3 years ago, we were first linked in Kompany's first window. He's been a repeated target for a number of years.

Re: Average position maps from Spurs and Sunderland
It does seem to be a 3atb system used in both games so far with us playing wider against Sunderland. Our formation actually doesn't seem to dissimilar to what Amorim is trying to play at ManUre Its distinctly different. As much as anything its actually situationally flexible, going into a 442 at ti...

Re: Summer transfer window
you're not comparing apples with apples though, agree with your facts, but we started with basically a new team & manager, it wasn't until Jan when Edwards arrived that we were fully settled as the team we wanted, which included attacking intent. Therefore for me when comparing it should be done fr...

Don’t forget Pope against CavaniCoolClaret wrote: ↑Sat Apr 19, 2025 4:27 pmOne of the angles (from side on) shows a clear change in the ball's spin/pace/height/flight after it passes Traff's hand.
It's a world-class save, up there with Heaton against United/Zlatan & Nick Pope against Palace/Benteke.

It also makes it the joint eighth longest unbeaten run in the whole history of English football.

Re: Unbeaten run
12 wins, 1 draw, 1 defeat equals the same points total from two years ago. That one goal from open play came in the game where CJ was injured and Egan was playing as well. The defence record is amazing, but its really impressive when you realise that when CJ ER and Steve have been playing as a pair...

Re: Sky Championship ToY so far
Johansson has faced the most shots in the entire league so he has more ‘chances’ at preventing goals, if you will. Trafford is simply an all round better keeper and 21 clean sheets means he HAS to be in this. Maja is a bizarre one to be honest, purple patch at the start then nothing. Having said th...

Yes, cut off is 12pm today and if it’s announced already then the ink is dry. Whether he will is a different question.

Also look at Worral on the sidelines at the weekend, really stood out as exactly the type of character you need for a run in.

Absolute madness, their last 5 games have all been top 7 teams, to have got anything out of those matches is some effort.

Sorry, but imo there's no good blended whiskey. Get a single malt (basically any single malt) and it's absolutely lovely. Otherwise, it's bobbins. The short sightedness of this comment has been enough to get me to login and comment, which is extremely rare. There’s some excellent blends out there, ...

Re: Clarets Bar - Lanzarote
Theres the sports bar in Las Coloradas in Playa Blanca that’s likely to have it on, we’re planning on being in there and Miguel is usually able to find the match. It’s a bit of a trek round, but if you go over Femes then it’s significantly quicker.

Re: Cullen
Don’t think Cullen was seriously bad at the start of the season, the tactics of having Cullen sitting whilst 5 other players pressed was the issue. Villa, spurs and Chelsea at home in particular That was in part an issue but there was Brentford away, Onyeka ran off him for the third like he wasn’t ...

Re: Burnley v Birmingham match thread
I'm sure we all noticed it. I also loved how a few times when there was danger in the box he came and collected. I think he punched once and did wonder if he could have caught it, but yeah had a good game. It wasn't a great punch but given the wet conditions a punch was probably the right choice, e...
