I'm one of the many who are exhausted after that.

Such heart and desire on show tonight - more than we've seen all season.

Burnley will be the reason my heart will give way
Back in the 60’s a doctor told my Grandad he had to stop watching Burnley for the sake of his heart. So nothing changes.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Everton sacked Lampard after tonight.
Bleeding hope not, but yes it wouldn't surprise me if they put big Dunc back in charge until the end of the season.

Just having this chat on WhatsApp.
I don't think it would make a difference, when Dunc was caretaker they were still gash.

In the post match interview Cornet spoke well for someone learning English. Far better than Biesla and Pochettino who were using translators for years.

Danny Higginbotham saying on Peacock that Everton are down. Tim Howard very worried.

Come on you Clarets.

Hopefully another good omen Ian is that Everton are the team we have beaten most often at home in the Premier League

Don't discount Watford finishing above Burnley or Everton, their run-in is pretty favourable on paper, and Burnley & Everton still have to visit Vicarage Road, so they'll be delighted with our win tonight.

Watford's run-in for comparison.

Leeds (H)
Brentford (H)
City (a)
Burnley (H)
Palace (a)
Everton (H)
Leicester (H)
Chelsea (a)

It’s funny how after a big win you look at future fixtures more positively. I can see 4-5 wins for us which I couldn’t see before the game.
Especially when you’ve come from behind against a relegation rival.
The reality though is that we still have too many players not up to the PL anymore and will need more outstanding contributions from other players

Lose tonight and Everton were in the driving seat. A win for us puts them under real pressure with those fixtures. And under pressure they have been atrocious

This is key. Last night was the first time we've beaten any of the bottom 6 all season. Norwich, Watford and Newcastle are crucial games

What a thoroughly enjoyable evening.

"Absolute scenes" as the kids would say when Cornet's goal went in.

Really. He got rid of two of their best in Digne and Rodriguez and spent 40m on two crap full backs.

Sacked all the medical team. Got the director of football sacked.

The mans poison who blames everyone else.

Newcastle fans only liked him because he publicly blamed Ashley for everything.

Football is a simple game ... Put the ball in the back of your opponents net more times than they do in yours.

Dyche summed it up on Tuesday "kick it in the net" simples innit

Yes just seen that fact, but they'll never have a better chance to break their duck than Burnley & Everton.

Perhaps their counter attacking style is better suited to playing away, and if we can go there and bag the 3 points it could almost seal their fate assuming other results go to script.

Everton can't win away, Watford can't win at home, that's great for us as long as we put points on the board safety really is possible, which given how poor we've been for the majority of the campaign would be remarkable.
