Not ignored anything - I've said that I don't believe the work permit is the issue, I said last week that there was an issue other than that which made the deal less likely than the week before. I've said that I think last week's issue has probably been overcome and it doesn't take much working out what that was. I'm very much more confident that we are getting Kompany than I was last week.arise_sir_charge wrote: ↑Tue Jun 07, 2022 3:03 pmHe probably wouldn’t be asked as often if he didn’t make inferences along the way.
CT made a suggestion that the work permit issue wasn’t the delay and he’s been asked politely by more than one poster to expand and has simply ignored the questions.

I’d guess at Gladbach’s interest in VK as they since got Farke? Good to hear you are more confident this week. Interesting that Nixon is adamant it’s work permit approval but you don’t seem to think so. Let’s just hope it’s sorted this week.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Tue Jun 07, 2022 3:36 pmNot ignored anything - I've said that I don't believe the work permit is the issue, I said last week that there was an issue other than that which made the deal less likely than the week before. The implication being that CT is deliberately playing games? I take the view Tony may well have had news on the QT from a good (but easily identifiable within the club) source - which he is unwilling to out to his employers. The vacuum of news emanates from a different board to his one, for reasons I hope will become apparent very soon; or the entire club will be sleepwalking into the start of the season.arise_sir_charge wrote: ↑Tue Jun 07, 2022 3:03 pmHe probably wouldn’t be asked as often if he didn’t make inferences along the way.

There was something from him either in the last window or the one before when someone posted on here that something was happening because he'd said so. I've not read the whole thread but Its been hinted to me a few times over the past weeks that deal has been on and off again, not all of them work permit related either. I posted it on here when I was told it was dead, though I didn't know the details.
I think we are too far down the road now for it not to fall through, but club can't officially announce him until he's allowed to work even if they state 'subject to work a permit'. I'm not sure what the status is at the moment, but I think it's just the waiting game now. It's certainly dragged on longer than anyone expected.

Re: Name the next manager
I stupidly posted it as soon as I heard that, but there was no details following which there normally is. I was told later there was something stalling the agreement but they moved past it... thats when I said it was back on... which I presumed was because or work permits. I've stayed off the thread now, because the longer nothing is said, the more rumours you hear and I'll just end up looking daft. I think its just been a bit bumpy with other clubs rumoured to be interested while paperwork is being completed - which is beyond BFC and VK's control.

You have got to love the attention seeking rumor spreaders who have been a member of this site for only 2 minutes. There are many posters on here that want to shoot you down even if you have good intentions, equally those individuals are probably frustrated with the attention seekers. A lot of this has been caused by the silence from the club that we support. The sooner something is announced regardless of who the new manager will be that we can move on and look forward to the new season. Preparing ourselves for daft rumours from some
