Absolutely no chance Bayern have paid £20m for him.
They backed away from de zerbis cos of the £15m
De Zerbi isn’t dissimilar to Tuchel, speaks his mind, falls out with people and throws his toys out when he doesn’t get what he wants.
With VK, they get someone whose happy to be there who the hierarchy can control, at a time when at board level, they are vulnerable as they really don’t have their s**t together.

Gave us a class season in the Championship, changed the footballing culture of the club. Changed the media’s perception of us. Brought in some young players, some with potential to make us tens of millions.
Good luck to him.

From what Iv seen and read, I’m of the mindset that Kompany is now on his way out, and would be really surprised if he’s still here at pre-season
Assuming he doesn’t go as part of the coaching staff, what would be wrong with giving the job to Craig Bellamy?
I wouldn’t be averse to it myself

Interesting thought , if we had sacked him it would have cost club more than £20m in compensation. Now it cots us nothing and we get money in.. whichever way you cook that pace is either a genius or lucky…. And id take lucky every day of the week
Wouldn’t cost us anything remotely like £20m to sack him

Surely not the only reason as he’s available for gratis now and they aren’t interested.
You’re maybe thinking of Glasner who they offered £15m for but Palace turned it didn’t and said they wanted something ridiculous like £80m.
I do think £20m seems high, but they’re evidently a bit desperate.

If our overall game is to establish ourselves as a mid table Premier league side, then Kompany's style will never allow us to achieve this. Conversely his style would make it easier for us in the championship, but ...eyes on the prize. We might get someone in who's a mixture of Dyche and VK.
That would be the dream. Big appointment ahead.

If we had sacked him 3 weeks ago, it would have cost us £20 million to get rid of him.
So instead someone offers us £20 million to take the manager with our worst every top flight record?
Yes please. Alan, you played a blinder.

Imagine if he’s left after the possibility that pace did the deal with city to play Trafford 75% of the time and vk was fuming and just waiting to jump at the first chance…..he’s not looked himself all season imo in the interviews

I wonder how many of the Burnley players will post messages on social media following his departure. It was reported today that many Chelsea players posted messages speaking of their high esteem for Pochettino and wishing him all the best. Greatly respected and liked by the squad but not by the owner.

What state? Should have the strongest squad in the league next season. Lots and lots of young, high potential players. 100% a better state than when he joined.

It's a proper Motley Crue mate. Signed for Vinny, lost a lot of experience, not many leaders, apparently a fair few 'cliques'... It's a fair farcry from the harmonious core group and continuity we had 2 years ago.

Odds slashed to 25/1 for relegation. Hearing in the autumn.

Shame they didn’t come in for him in December or January as we might still be in the PL. Of course if we ended up sacking him 10- 15 games in next season it would have cost us. Set pieces should improve next season whoever is in charge and we should have less guys prancing about with lap tops in the dugout.

****. That's bad if true- I was hoping Jackson would provide some continuity.
Frankly we are ****** if this pans out. We wasted a shutkoad of money on players who weren't ready, brought for a style for a manager who won't be here in a league where we may struggle to compete if we get off to a bad start.
This could be an absolute disaster and frankly I think less of Vince than Coyle if this is true. He sacrificed our Prem survival on his mantra then ****** off.

I'm pretty sure Tresor only came in the first place because of who the manager was.
I think he'll want out now more than ever.
Why would he want out more than ever, the manager he came to supposedly play for, played him on the different wing to where he got all his assists from and most weeks didn’t have him in the match day squad.
He will be looking forward to a fresh start
