Could allow us to keep an extra player or two now. And get a manager who’s just as likely to get us promoted. Now that’s the big next decision…

It’s hard to believe the compo rumour is true, but no more unbelievable than Bayern wanting him in the first place.

£20m is probably at the most optimistic end of what we might have expected to achieve in outgoing transfer revenue. It’d take some pressure off in that regard.
