Laurent as the holding midfielder is giving Brownhill the freedom he likes. Outstanding cross and a great header to finish. What a goal!!

I’ve said it for a long time

But give Foster service and he will score. He’s the best striker in this league

What a cross though. Foster didn't even have to break sweat to get to it.

Worrall/Esteve, Laurent, Foster... That's a pretty decent spine to a team

First Worrall mistake…

Can’t get beaten that easily with a long ball.

Great fluke goal that, completely against the run of play.

Need to get our heads down now and get another 2

He was where I'd have wanted a keeper to be with players on the edge of the box, ready to close the angles down. Absolute worldie of a goal, the dip especially

Anyone having a go at Trafford for that is a bit simple imo, it was an outstanding opportunistic hit was is one of those you can't do much about unfortunately!

Exactly the goal I thought of mixed with Cisse for Newcastle Vs Chelsea.

Also if I'm honest that offside looked on to me. Not complaining but my god is that tight at best

He was beat by a lot of long shots last season where I do think his positioning was suspect. Nothing he could do about that today, that's a Puskas Award contender no keeper on the planet saves it.

Not sure what the lino gave there but if it was for offside then he fluffed it badly.
