Laurent as the holding midfielder is giving Brownhill the freedom he likes. Outstanding cross and a great header to finish. What a goal!!

I’ve said it for a long time
But give Foster service and he will score. He’s the best striker in this league

Great build up between Pires, Brownhill and Anthony
Re: Clarets v Rovers
What a cross though. Foster didn't even have to break sweat to get to it.

Worrall/Esteve, Laurent, Foster... That's a pretty decent spine to a team

Great fluke goal that, completely against the run of play.
Need to get our heads down now and get another 2

I've always liked Weiman and had a feeling he might score, talk about a goal out of nothing.

Re: Clarets v Rovers
He was where I'd have wanted a keeper to be with players on the edge of the box, ready to close the angles down. Absolute worldie of a goal, the dip especially

Anyone having a go at Trafford for that is a bit simple imo, it was an outstanding opportunistic hit was is one of those you can't do much about unfortunately!

Re: Clarets v Rovers
He was beat by a lot of long shots last season where I do think his positioning was suspect. Nothing he could do about that today, that's a Puskas Award contender no keeper on the planet saves it.KernowHouseClaret wrote: ↑Sat Aug 31, 2024 12:57 pmHe was where I'd have wanted a keeper to be with players on the edge of the box, ready to close the angles down. Not sure what the lino gave there but if it was for offside then he fluffed it badly.

How has the commentator seen that and said Esteve took out Hedges when it was the opposite.

I hate to say it but I like their CFm Gueye. Got them the goal. Looks horrible to play against.
