The two games Parker brought Hannibal backing into the starting 11 we looked miles better. Since dropping him we've gone straight back to how we were before. I've said it before that whilst he's far from our best player, his pressing, bite and energy early on in games really helps us get control and allows other players to shine

Absolutely for me this is a fundamental aspect where we are lacking. So many times I see hesitation when controlling the ball and taking one touch too many when we’re “trying” to up the pace. We just can’t do it, and it’s telling. If we had players with the confidence to control and pass quickly (or at least much quicker let than we do now!) then we do have the makings of a good team. It’s the one aspect that we lack to unlock defences IMO

Yep plus one for this, mentioned it last week. There's so many under or over hit passes or ones where it's hit so it's bobbling on.

The whole idea of a passing/possession based game is to force their players to move around by moving the ball quickly, one and two touch passing and the way we do that makes that impossible. Norwich are showcasing how to do it perfectly.

I laughed the other day when I saw someone suggest we cancel Flemming's loan.

After this sub I'm in agreement. Parker will never play him in his position and he's ******* awful out of position as a number 9. What a waste.
