Re: KIT LEAK
Jesus that is beyond dull. It will need the sponsor on to liven it up. Will look dreadful without it..like a boring training top.
I'll be waiting for the away shirt as I suspect will many others going off the reaction.
A big miss for me.

Re: KIT LEAK
It doesn’t look great from the admittedly poor pictures, but if they offer a sponsorless version again I’ll probably buy it.

Re: KIT LEAK
My thoughts exactly. I like the idea of sponsorless shirts and glad people have the opportunity to buy them. But they do end up looking like a training top rather than the real thing. Haven't bought one for that reason.ŽižkovClaret wrote: ↑Mon Jun 30, 2025 2:14 pmI'd like a sponsorless shirt but that then turns it effectively into a 60 quid training top, which is on the punchy side

A sponsorless shirt is no longer a replica shirt, personally find them ridiculous.
Last year betting sponsors are allowed I believe.

Re: KIT LEAK
Don’t think it’s too bad… we’ve had mostly claret before, the claret and gold one comes to mind.
It’s the mono badge and dodgy sponsor that disappoints me.

Re: KIT LEAK
Topography is the word used in the blurb that will go with it, as well as referring to it as a uniform.

I’m just glad I have cracking fashion sense and won’t ever be seen in a football shirt.

I'm certainly a fan of a decent bit of blue with our claret, but they've clearly gone with a riff on the classic 70s shirt and for that I can't moan.

Re: KIT LEAK
Very poor is my opinion, if thats the true shirt looks very bland, why the bloody hell do we need a monochrome badge, lets have the colourful one from when we went up at Wembley in 2009, monochrome is NOT the proper Burnley fc badge, come on Alan do some reserch and ask the fans.

Re: KIT LEAK
Why do people leak them. Like surely they risk their job doing so?

Coloured badge and I could live with that as a nod to the 70’s shirt .
Re: KIT LEAK
Quite like that at first glance. 70’s style and first all claret shirt since 2007/8. Not as garish as I feared with the talk of contours/topography.
Looking at the other Castore home shirts released for English clubs they are quite understated. I saw the Preston shirt first hand yesterday and that does look really cheap and drab. The Everton shirt also looks quite plain barring the ‘Mersey’ design in the shirt.
Be nice to see it in the shop on Wednesday.

Kit leak day.
As traditional as mince pies at Christmas and fake fixture leaks the day before launch.

Re: KIT LEAK
At first fuzzy look I quite like it
A caveat to this, is that, if it’s predominantly Claret when I see the real thing if it’s Claret, then great, if however it’s Purple….

Re: KIT LEAK
You’d think if ANYONE understands the value of a corporate identity, it would be the Americans…. Perhaps they thought we wouldn’t notice. Or maybe they just noticed we are a nation of apathetics and thought “we can do as we like”…elwaclaret wrote: ↑Mon Jun 30, 2025 1:47 pmExcept that at least had proper blue cuffs and and a thick neckline band to go with the blue BFC. We’ve had more yellow in the home shirt than there is blue in this and still managed to make it look like a Burnley shirt.
One thing I’d say for that lot down the road they stick to the corporate brand… you know whatever else there shirt will be blue and white halves…. Why do we need to keep reinventing the wheel?

Re: KIT LEAK
I like the look of it, probably because we were wearing the same colour scheme when I started watching in the mid-70s. In fact I think the last time I bought a home shirt was the Hollands Pies sponsored one with just the blue trim about20 years ago.
Re: KIT LEAK
Had a dream last night that Brownhill is modelling it and this is how they announce his new contract... I was convinced it was real!
