Re: KIT LEAK
Looks to me like something created in Paint in the 1990s.
Re: KIT LEAK
Although the quality is poor and doesn't show the true color and detail, this is the kit.
It is the kids version mind. The adults has 96.com in blue and white.

Where’s the hills????
Re: KIT LEAK
I’ll wait to see what it has been inspired by before I pass judgement.
Re: KIT LEAK
Looks like it's been coloured in on paint. Weird effect on the shirt. Must be fake.

Re: KIT LEAK
I think that is awful. It looks like Chelseas did last year that has been cut out of a pair of curtains.

50 years ago is the start of the famous ‘V’ shirt. Anyway, we had an all claret top during (I think) the Cotterill years.Selby Claret wrote: ↑Mon Jun 30, 2025 1:41 pmInspired by this presumably - 50 years ago...

If that's genuine, then there's another reason not to buy it.

Re: KIT LEAK
Except that at least had proper blue cuffs and and a thick neckline band to go with the blue BFC. We’ve had more yellow in the home shirt than there is blue in this and still managed to make it look like a Burnley shirt.Selby Claret wrote: ↑Mon Jun 30, 2025 1:41 pmInspired by this presumably - 50 years ago...

One thing I’d say for that lot down the road they stick to the corporate brand… you know whatever else there shirt will be blue and white halves…. Why do we need to keep reinventing the wheel?

I don't know the in's and out's to the deal, all I know for 100% certainty is that 96.com is once again on the front of the home shirt.
Re: KIT LEAK
Quite like it.
I presume the pattern is supposed to be topography.
Happy with that

Re: KIT LEAK
Each to their own on whether or not you like it, but this picture quality does not show off the colour or design at all.
In fact, I think the genuine high-res images make it look very different to this.

Re: KIT LEAK
But we’ve had kits without blue sleeves several times over the last 55 years. We went a full decade, between 69 and 79, with claret sleeves.elwaclaret wrote: ↑Mon Jun 30, 2025 1:47 pmExcept that at least had proper blue cuffs and and a thick neckline band to go with the blue BFC. Re: KIT LEAK
I can see this being hated, but I like it. The sponsor may ruin it if it's that awful massive yellow thing again. After having away's for the last two seasons I may go for this depending on the finished outcome.

Well aware of that… but never have we had so little blue, in the shirt including the early/mid 70’s shirt posted above.

That I believe is smaller than last season and is blue/blue white not yellow this time.jedi_master wrote: ↑Mon Jun 30, 2025 1:53 pmI can see this being hated, but I like it. Re: KIT LEAK
The short sleeve version of the early 70s kit would have had the same amount of blue as the modern one. Besides, we may well end up with blue socks.elwaclaret wrote: ↑Mon Jun 30, 2025 1:55 pmWell aware of that… but never have we had so little blue, in the shirt including the early/mid 70’s shirt posted above.

Re: KIT LEAK
Yeah I agree, I get the sentiment of having blue sleeves but I like the small blue trim.
A long sleeve version of this shirt would be outstanding

Re: KIT LEAK
Mark Green suggests that is indeed the case. I will keep the powder dry on any further comment regarding my disappointment for now. I may come to like it as long as we don’t move away from our traditional kit for too long… strangely my favourite kit was the Burnley V but love the blue sleeves as instantly recognisable as a Clarets shirt… spottable from long distance, all over the world… and have had many a chat due to it.
As to the sleeves the cuff bands were far thicker

Re: KIT LEAK
I'll reserve judgement until I see the proper version. But hoping we don't have blue shorts. Never a fan of that.

Re: KIT LEAK
I'd like a sponsorless shirt but that then turns it effectively into a 60 quid training top, which is on the punchy side

The way some little kid accounts on X are going on they are making out like it’s fully purple, to me the only thing that looks purple is the badge, the shirt itself looks claret

Re: KIT LEAK
I'll reserve judgement until I see it properly but from first viewing it doesn't look the best, I did wonder last summer when JJ Watt played in the USA tournament if the kits they used were a template of the shirts we'd see this season.
The home shirt definitely has a similar look and we're due a white away shirt just like they used

Re: KIT LEAK
I think any comments on the colour are pointless until we’ve seen the colour. As it is, it’s a fuzzy photo of (what looks like) a poor mock up on a laptop screen.123EasyasBFC wrote: ↑Mon Jun 30, 2025 2:20 pmThe way some little kid accounts on X are going on they are making out like it’s fully purple, to me the only thing that looks purple is the badge, the shirt itself looks claret

Re: KIT LEAK
Is this supposed to be the actual kit or a mock up based of someone’s description of it? It looks a very poor quality CAD if it’s of the real thing.

Re: KIT LEAK
Regardless it’s never going to the the correct colour of claret to someone. The sponsors obviously opens a can of worms, the only thing for me that should be non negotiable is on the home shirt having the proper badge, I don’t mind the different versions on the away kits
