which is fine if the ticket office have the correct email address for the ticket holder.Burnleybabe wrote: ↑Wed Aug 13, 2025 1:42 pmI have had an email from the club to say that they have been sent to the individual numbers

Which in a couple of cases from my group they weren't
Luckily I have tracked them down and sorted it

This doesn't impact me, but it could be problematic for some.
I think the ticketing platform should ask the purchaser to confirm the email addresses for recipients prior to placing the order. Discovering that a registered email address is wrong/compromised 2 working days before the match doesn't leave much time to rectify.

No extra time tonight! Pity! Pens.
Re: 2025/26: Tottenham Hotspur V Burnley – Ticket Information
They looked pretty knackered those last 10 mins though. Hot weather in Italy will have drained them. Flight back in the early hours of the morning. Not the best prep for a Sat afternoon game. Didn't see that much to be worried about.

I hope we get a positive result after all this faffing and stress about tickets. Who would think trying to attend a football match would be so complicated and fraught with difficulty, and the powers that be reckon digital is progress!

The purchaser might not know the email addresses. I buy ours so they are all in my friends and family but that doesn't record the email addresses.Leon_C wrote: ↑Wed Aug 13, 2025 3:10 pmThis doesn't impact me, but it could be problematic for some.

The big problem here is waiting until three days before the game to send them out.

What a joke this digital ticket system is. I have no mobile phone to get my ticket, just a iPad. Been to the ticket office today. They say it’s the premier league which insists on this and I should go to Tottenham ticket office prior to the game and hopefully they can help me. Luckily I am going to London tomorrow to stay with relatives so will be hoping to sort my ticket out at Tottenham

I went in today and asked why they were sent out so late - I was told it is Premier League rules and also that we don't send them out, they are all done by the Premier League.Mickclaret wrote: ↑Thu Aug 14, 2025 4:55 pmWhat a joke this digital ticket system is. "Will I have to use a Digital ticket?"
League rules will require clubs to ensure that Season Tickets and all Home and Away Match Tickets by default are made available as digital tickets. Clubs will retain some discretion to make some tickets available in other formats to supporters who have reasonable grounds to request them. This may include supporters who have a disability that makes the purchase or use of digital tickets challenging. Other examples include some group bookings, such as school or Club Community partners.
Clubs will consult with supporters’ representatives to develop suitable policies and exemptions.

Desperate for an adult ticket for Spurs. Thought I had secured one on this message board a week ago, paid instantly but got strung along for a ticket that may not have existed. If anyone has one, please advise

Really! How would the PL have all our ST holders email addresses and know who had purchased tickets? And they came from our TO email address.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Thu Aug 14, 2025 5:11 pmI went in today and asked why they were sent out so late - I was told it is Premier League rules and also that we don't send them out, they are all done by the Premier League.

Yes - agreed. By confirm - I mean "verify" rather than type into the system.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Thu Aug 14, 2025 8:47 amThe purchaser might not know the email addresses. I buy ours so they are all in my friends and family but that doesn't record the email addresses.
The big problem here is waiting until three days before the game to send them out.
So, if I was purchasing 6 tickets for friends as well as myself - I would be shown either the full email for each, or a redacted version (eg l**.c***@provider.com) - enabling me to check - if I wished - that the person would have access to that address.

Re: 2025/26: Tottenham Hotspur V Burnley – Ticket Information
Just a guess, but perhaps the Premier League is trying to get a handle on who is using the tickets that are sold, in the first instance, to people registered with the club selling the tickets. Sending the digital tickets out late, perhaps, limits the opportunity for tickets to be sold on by the original purchaser. I think we all read how concerned many posters on this thread have been about the possibility of premium members buying tickets and selling them on, at a significant markup, to someone keen to attend Premier League games.
Hope everyone gets into the game, successfully, in 24 hours time. A new Premier League season will kick-off soon.

Just come to download my ticket and realised that my son’s is nowhere to be seen. Checked his email address and nothing on his account either. Anyone got any advice on what to do? I’m just going to have to travel and hope Spurs TO can help me, I think. What an absolute shambles.

What ticketing issues did anyone have today? Seemed to be quite a few irritate people at the away ticket office saying that their tickets wouldn't work as they had no QR code on them. Seemed to take the Ticket Office staff by surprise as they were only expecting a few collections.

From what I heard they were using QR codes rather than NFC at the ground. Android phones allowed to switch to the QR code. iPhones (or at least some of them) didn't.Leisure wrote: ↑Sat Aug 16, 2025 6:20 pmWhat ticketing issues did anyone have today? Was a bit odd. I was scanned twice. First as you went towards the away section and then went you entered the ground. (My ticket was in my iPhone wallet). First scan no problem, but the second by the entrance didn’t work until the QR code was opened. Click the three dots top right of the ticket in the wallet, then press “Pass Details” and hey presto the QR code appears.Leisure wrote: ↑Sat Aug 16, 2025 6:20 pmWhat ticketing issues did anyone have today? Re: 2025/26: Tottenham Hotspur V Burnley – Ticket Information
Leisure - the problem was that BFC had resent some tickets out to people who had not received their original tickets for whatever reason (wrong email address on system in our case, my son’s fault!) but instead of sending ‘Spurs’ tickets they had sent some sort of BFC proxy tickets that had no ability to be scanned - no QR code or anything.
BFC had assured us these would scan but they didn’t. At 2.40 there were at least 20 people with the same problem.
There were three Spurs staff at the ticket office and the two lads said we all had to see the same lass at the end so were literally just twiddling their thumbs. The lass was trying her best but had no idea what these things were that BFC had used and was having to take peoples phones off them and mess about, the guy in front of me had 4 such tickets and she wasn’t making any headway.
At about 2.55 she made a call and just marched us all in through both checkpoints allowing us to show our tickets but they weren’t scanned.
Had my sons email address been correct this wouldn’t have happened, but after three calls to our ticket office and assurances we were sorted, it was frustrating. Very appreciative of the woman who made the only practical decision.
Everyone just check you have your correct details on the system and a smartphone. If you haven’t got a smart phone I’ve no idea how you’re gonna get on this season.

Thanks for this. I did speak to the guy in the suit who appeared to be the Manager and I politely asked him why they had staff behind 3 windows but with 2 of them virtually redundant, as they didn't have a laptop. He said that they were just expecting a few people collecting printed tickets and hadn't anticipated the numbers seeking help with their ticket, saying that it was caused by a cock-up at the Burnley end. As you say, the young lady was doing her best.IrkthePurists wrote: ↑Sun Aug 17, 2025 8:38 amLeisure - the problem was that BFC had resent some tickets out to people who had not received their original tickets for whatever reason (wrong email address on system in our case, my son’s fault!) but instead of sending ‘Spurs’ tickets they had sent some sort of BFC proxy tickets that had no ability to be scanned - no QR code or anything.

Had this exact same thing; both me and my Dad. Bloke the other side of the gate was less than helpful but it was him who took our phones and switched it to a QR code. I had no idea it was even possible. Would have been a lot easier to just open the gate, given we clearly had tickets to show him, and they’d been scanned already.LlandennyClaret wrote: ↑Sat Aug 16, 2025 11:30 pmWas a bit odd. You could tell yesterday who the members were. They were either wearing clothes that were far too nice for a football game and/or they clearly weren’t from the Burnley area.
Block 117 was full of Members from halfway up. A big group and several rows of people who were, let’s say, clearly from the north London area or possibly paris!
Never seen anything like it. I suppose we will have to get used to it. I will be the same at other London games no doubt.
Very frustrating that an away end that is supposed to be filled with Burnley fans was half full of tourists. The Majority in block 117 were not their to support Burnley.

The majority of those that you are referring to in block 117 are friends and families of the players. Plenty of pictures on Social Media, particularly Instagram supporting this.RickyBobby wrote: ↑Sun Aug 17, 2025 4:51 pmYou could tell yesterday who the members were. Been to Burnley’s last four home games and I was in 117 and not wearing anything corporate
Spoke to numerous fans both inside and on the overground the majority were not in our colours clearly loyal Burnley fans.I travel on my own and retired and if I stop at services or board a train the last thing I want is a bunch of morons giving me abuse and I have had my share over years.
The only annoying thing for me was seeing a few empty seats

Some weird folk on here! Whilst that block was very quiet when other blocks were singing, that doesn't mean that they weren't supporting Burnley. Doesn't mean that you don't support Burnley just because you don't sing or wear nice clothes!RickyBobby wrote: ↑Sun Aug 17, 2025 4:51 pmYou could tell yesterday who the members were. Re: 2025/26: Tottenham Hotspur V Burnley – Ticket Information
I doubt there were any Premium Members in block 117. At the end of the game, when all the players had finished giving their thanks to the supporters, Hardman went over to block 117, had selfie with a group who were obviously his friends then removed his shirt and handed it to one of them. It wouldn't surprise me if player comp tickets were in seating reserved for them. Maybe yesterday there were more player comps than usual, given there were a number of new signings.RickyBobby wrote: ↑Sun Aug 17, 2025 4:51 pmYou could tell yesterday who the members were.
