Vegas is right, though. No potential signing can look at that performance and say we're not a decent side.

No chance - they'd be too worried that they wouldn't get in the sideHelloHiGoodbye wrote:Yeah. Kante, Hazard and Morata.

Similar to January's window when we snatched Brady. Had we been struggling back then I doubt he'd have come. Time to ride the high and use the week wisely

Was saying this to the missus yesterday. Winning away at the Champions cannot harm our chances of attracting players who may have had doubts prior to the game.

I bet the usual suspects on here will still find something to moan about

Sunday People saying we are in talks with PSV with regards to signing French defender Nicolas Isimat-Mirin.
Reportedly for half the price we received for Michael Kane.

I can't believe we are two places below Huddersfield and only 3 points ahead of Brighton and Newcastle!mkmel wrote:I bet the usual suspects on here will still find something to moan about

yes, a lot of our targets are bound to lower their wage demands now that we have beaten Chelsea. wtfVegas Claret wrote:Amazing result that will make potential targets take notice, could be big week for us after today

Re: The perfect week to attract new players
He never said that. A player who may have been reluctant to consider a move to Burnley, may be more open to the idea following a positive result away at the Champions of England. A potential signing would look more favourably on a move to us after that win than if we'd just got hammered 6-0. Nobody mentioned wages.pushpinpussy wrote:yes, a lot of our targets are bound to lower their wage demands now that we have beaten Chelsea. wtf

Also, our new signings are now probably sure they made the right choice!
