Jeez it looks like they've had enough of Dyche already. Not sure where he goes from here if they get relegated. Perhaps his time has been and gone?
It was a mental job to take on, unless he’s had some assurances about being kept on in the event of relegation.

They can chop and change managers as much as they like but that won’t solve their problems.

Given time and a sufficiently long enough reach to affect more than just what is wrong on the pitch, I think he could prove to be a wise appointment.

Whether he will ever prove to be more than a well organised manager, time will tell. Will this be the opportunity to show a more pleasing on the eye brand of football? Not without being given time, free reign and a decent budget.

The thing that really shocked me was how wide open they were; they had no central midfield. I think it was the second or third after an absolutely awful pass from Tarky (who looked shockingly sloppy and bad) and Newcastle just run 50 yards right through the middle of the park and scored! You don't give teams like them that kind of space and freedom! Very weak full-backs who aren't great defenders and can't attack that well and only one decent striker in the club in DCL, who has hardly played for injuries. It's looking bleak and the Evertonians realised it tonight. Still, besides City at home, they've got games against teams around them to pull themselves out of it. At the moment, that's something to hold onto at least.

Don't bother, krbfc has pathological hatred of Keane
Not even, did some good things for us here and scored some massive goals to get us promoted, I just don’t make excuses for him being a vastly overrated defender. You were blaming him being poor on poor managers despite Everton hiring Ancelotti and now Dyche, does that make them poor managers for not getting a tune out of him or is he just a donkey?

I wouldn’t say Ancelotti is a poor manager, that would make me correct about Keane all along.

VAR inconsistencies are so frustrating to watch.
But at least VAR has changed the game. The VAR people can look at the Southampton game, for example, and presumably be proud of the fact that they have made the game different.

Under the old rules, Adams scored his 90th minute equaliser, they all looked at the linesman, they found he was onside, they celebrated like mad. Last minute goals, there's nothing better. And then they went home and watched the telly and found the linesman was right, he was level, and they look back on a point well earned.

VAR has stopped that sort of thing. Now, Adams scores his last minute equaliser, the linesman hasn't a clue whether it's onside or not because it's been made impossible to tell, and the crowd celebrate before going quiet because they don't know whether it's a goal or not. And then the news comes through that Adams had his foot pointing down the field instead of across the field, which made his toes offside. VAR has triumphed - it's killed the excitement, it's disallowed a goal which would be perfectly good and uncontroversial anywhere else, the VAR people are thrilled that they have changed the game yet again.

Obviously it stinks if you like football, but if you go to matches in hopes of seeing exciting bits of technology and watching grass grow, it's just the thing.

What an assist
Amazing run from Isak which will not go down on the stats as an assist for the player because of a slight touch from an Everton player. Neither will Joelinton be credited for an assist for Newcastle's first goal for a similar reason.

Baffling why Everton did not give Duncan Ferguson a go ?
Have you seen his record at Forest Green Rovers?

Dyche nearly took the Forest Green Rovers job. He turned it down not because the club had gone vegan but because the celery was too low.
