Only able to catch the second half but a shot on target at last and a goal, I hope we see more of them shots.

Fancy they are fading but we've been much better this half.

I don't know what standard they are but I think we've done really well given the age difference in the two sides.

Akim Samms now gone off --he has had a very good game. I think that it was his corner we scored from and he scored the third goal.

I like the look of No4, Yari - very tidy, sees an opportunity and accurate with his passing.

Well played lads!
Better side, which became evident as the game went on.
All the more commendable considering their ages and, they've only largely formed up this summer.

Really good performance with a very young team with one or two 'regular starters' missing.
Danny will have an interesting job in picking the team for the semi, particularly with Dwight McNeil coming back in.
As one who watches the Youth team on a fairly regular basis, I am chuffed to bits!

Been two interesting results in Group D so far

Slavia Prague 6 Academia 0
Altinord 6 Academia 0

We will find out tomorrow who we play in the semis but either we are going to come up against a very good team or Academia are not very good.

Academia were invited at very short notice after an African side pulled out, so the scores in those games may be slightly deceptive

That might explain it. There was a team called Real Sapphire in initially.
