I just hope Parker gets what he thinks we need, it's a tough ask for us to stay up regardless.

We also don’t shoot enough. So many times on the edge of the box we look to pass it across the box.Vegas Claret wrote: ↑Sun Aug 10, 2025 4:16 pmwe don't move the ball quick enough, we need 3 signings that fix that.
Edwards did it a lot last season and I wouldn’t if it was because he wasn’t fully fit but then yesterday in his little cameo he had 2 or 3 opportunities to shoot and decided to pass instead.

Re: Summer transfer window
It's a really tough ask. That's why balance is so important. Wouldn't be averse to a loan or two, but would be against three players requiring material purchase fees. That said, I wasn't aware Parker has said he's looking to bring in "two or three players".Vegas Claret wrote: ↑Sun Aug 10, 2025 4:43 pmI just hope Parker gets what he thinks we need, it's a tough ask for us to stay up regardless.

Must have had a few shots as we hit the woodwork 3 times yesterday.123EasyasBFC wrote: ↑Sun Aug 10, 2025 4:50 pmWe also don’t shoot enough. So many times on the edge of the box we look to pass it across the box.

Unless deflected. As the shot may have been initially on target.

Re: Summer transfer window
yeah I can't remember him saying it in his post match interview that I posted but Matt Scrafton has got it from somewhere, likely in the presser post match (or he's making it up but I can't see the value in that).
Agree about the loans, I'd love us to try and get Barkley as one of them

agree about Edwards, it's something they need to fix123EasyasBFC wrote: ↑Sun Aug 10, 2025 4:50 pmWe also don’t shoot enough. So many times on the edge of the box we look to pass it across the box.

Re: Summer transfer window
Scrafton basically said it as a ‘Burnley express believes’ type of thing, probably from one of his sources.Vegas Claret wrote: ↑Sun Aug 10, 2025 6:33 pmyeah I can't remember him saying it in his post match interview that I posted but Matt Scrafton has got it from somewhere, likely in the presser post match (or he's making it up but I can't see the value in that).

Re: Summer transfer window
Agreed, way too much of this close range tippy tappy nonsense, only good things happen when you shoot. May get a favourable deflection or something.123EasyasBFC wrote: ↑Sun Aug 10, 2025 4:50 pmWe also don’t shoot enough. So many times on the edge of the box we look to pass it across the box.
Re: Summer transfer window
We've had a great transfer window so far and most would have been happy with what we have. Yet there might be a couple more incomings which would be the icing on the cake.
Despite this people still manage to find something to complain about or argue over.
