My eldest brother's grandson, William Couch, got on the subs bench today. Well done to him.

I missed that. Strangely, all I saw when I saw the name was Crouch but I think he might be too old for a comeback in the youth team. He was on the bench at the previous game too so I'm assuming he's an under-16.

Sorry, CT, I mean there are differences in the line-ups as reported by Up The Clarets and Burnley FC.

In lower 6th(year 12) and just recently signed a two year apprenticeship(is that what they still call them?). Very good midfielder, according to my brother who doesn't offer praise very easily unless it's well deserved, believe me!ClaretTony wrote: ↑Sat Jan 04, 2020 5:04 pmI missed that. They call them scholarships now but they are the same thing as the old apprenticeship. I’ve not had much chance to see the youth team for a while recently but I’ll likely as not see him play soon.Silkyskills1 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 04, 2020 8:16 pmIn lower 6th(year 12) and just recently signed a two year apprenticeship(is that what they still call them?). Just for ClarEty or Clarity....the lad mentioned earlier in these posts is Will Couch NOT CRouch but he does have an Uncle Peter Couch and not Peter Crouch. He is known as Couchy and not Crouchy and he is U16 although he is still only 15 (August). I trust this is as clear as mud. Regards Crouch Potato.

He does have an Uncle Peter and I might have got his age and school year wrong. Thought he was Lower 6 th but I believe he is in Year 11. Sorry for misleading anyone.
