Steve Morrow in the Barnet line up. Is that the same one who fractured his shoulder at Wembley after being thrown about by a teammate celebrating a victory. If it is the same one I don't think he played for Arsenal again.

My first Burnley game. After years of trying to get my dad to take me, he finally gave in. We saw a few games towards the end of that season and I’m pretty sure he’s had a season ticket since.
I didn’t need a season ticket for a few years as free entry was one of the perks of selling the striker lottery tickets just inside the turnstiles of the Bee Hole End. The other perks were hearing people say “Is that one a winner?” After they bought it, or “P!55 off” when they didn’t want to buy one.

It is the same one. He was on loan at Barnet from Arsenal but this was his only appearance for Barnet.Silkyskills1 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 07, 2022 7:23 pmSteve Morrow in the Barnet line up. One of their players ( Paul Showler ) played for Colne Dynamos for a season.

He did go on to play for Arsenal the season after the injury before moving on.

Seem to remember this game was billed as the battle of the division's top scorers - Mike Conroy for us and Gary Bull for Barnet. Of course neither of them were on target. Their keeper Philips made a number of good saves that day to keep the score down to 3-0.

Was a bit easier getting out the ground after this game than the away fixture a few week later
