Only been here 12 days and assumed until the other night you'd been here for years!!

Keep up the great work and so glad I found this place for some football banter.

Does feel like we've been here forever. Sometimes a new forum can take some getting used to but this somehow felt familiar straight away.

A very Happy Birthday to us all, it was such a relief to join this site after the farce that the old site became. Well done to all who got it up and running.

Congratulations...the birth and growth of Up the Clarets and the message board has been an amazing feat. It's unbelievable how much better this is compared to the old site and to achieve all this in twelve months is something that those responsible should be justifiably proud.

It's been a brilliant move over, well done to all concerned in getting this up and running; still feels like Eli's place.

I should really have said and a Massive well done to Tony and all the Mods on such an excellent site that brings Clarets from all over the world together for a bit of Banter sometimes heated but mostly for fun and we even accept fans who are "Rejected", from elsewhere

I think the reason it felt so familier is the crew created what we used to love. And lots of people had been on the old site for years.

A huge thank you to Tony and Dibraidio who have worked so hard to provide us with THE best BFC resource. The club's own site should be the first place Clarets go to keep up with BFC news but it's just not good. So, very fortunately we have fans who work damn hard to fill the void.

A big thank you to all the other fans who help keep UTC rolling. The moderators deserve huge respect because they dedicate a great deal of time to make sure the board operates properly.

And a massive thank you to all the advertisers without whom the site couldn't exist.

Well done to our very own team that created the site.

I visit the old place less and less as time goes by, mainly due to the adverts and partly because it just doesn't seem as interesting as this one.
I probably look at Brfcc more then CM.

Great site in the main good banter and mutual respect for differing views. As we enter our second year and no doubt start potty training it could be a great opportunity to rid the site of some of the turds

Not wanting to blow smoke but think part of the reason for that was down to the continuity of CT input, the familiar names from "t'other side" & the cleanliness of this site.

Never thought that the old site could be replaced - how wrong can you be ?

A lot of hard graft has gone into this site and made it what it is today on it's
first anniversary. Many congratulations to all involved, including (nearly) all
the contributors.

Glad I joined. Trips back to the other side in the early days were not uplifting.

I suggest a visit to the other site occasionally to really appreciate this one. CM is dreadful still in its operation.

What they have got is lots of articles by CT and others which form a helpful history. It's a pity that it's not possible to move that over here.

Anyway, thanks to all involved for running this site. It is really appreciated.

Still have no idea how it works really, that said, it is a wonderfully compulsive place to visit. Thousands of opinions on anything and everything.

The chance to get things aired immediately on all things Burnley, is brilliant.

Naturally my opinions are the most valid, and its a bit difficult to tolerate counter arguments occasionally, but nevertheless....

Grateful for this resource. A big thanks from me, keep it up . Apart from crocheting and collecting bobbins, this is my only contact with other humans.

Happy Birthday all you Clarets and congrats to the guys who set this up,can finally catch up with other Clarets .....Claretsmad was impossible to use towards the end had to get my football fix on FootballForums which wasn't ideal I had to interact with supporters of other clubs and it wasn't always nice...good to be back amongst the Burnley masses.

Yep a super idea making our own site as it were without 5 thousands ads to troll through as a certain site we used to use .

Tremendous achievement, which helps all us Clarets combine and enjoy (mostly) each others opinions and thoughts. Above all our love of all things Claret and Blue.

Thank you Tony for providing some excellent and well researched articles to the site. It has become my foremost source for all matters concerning Burnley FC. It was eagerly awaited after we spoke at Milton Keynes last year and it certainly has lived up to expectations.

Well done to all those involved. A vast improvement to say the least from the rubbish that the old board turned into over the years. The design of this board is everything the other one wasn't, clean, simple and easy to use.

I am sure it is no coincidence that the improvement in the clubs' performance coincided with this boards' creation.... Long may it continue.
