If I never had to get that bus ever again I would be a happy man. In fact if we never played them for another ten years I would.

We dont need the distraction of playing them. Lets have another few years unbeaten against them yet. Especially after Accy and Lincoln!

Draw is tonight after the final first round tie at Bury. Think it's on sky sports news. Second round to be played w/c 21st August.

I'm assuming ground ticks - so my selfish away ties would be Burton, Barnet or Newport although I could do without the long journey for the latter two.

Yes selfish reasons are for ground ticks. Hopefully I'll never complete the whole 92 clubs in the football league. Been stuck on 70 ish for quite a while

I completed the 92 in February 1986 at Torquay. At the time all but Darlington had been a Burnley game so when we first played at Darlington in December 1987 my list was complete. Obviously some I've not done now but you would hope that Burnley fans in the future will struggle to do it simply because we don't ever want to be playing some of the lower division clubs again.

Rochdale away for me. Unfinished business after getting to the ground twice in 92 and both being rained off. Gave up for the 3rd one.

I've done the new Shrewsbury ground - went to see the reserves there in early 2011. As a fellow Claret - paulclaret from this board - said to me leaving the ground: "That's 90 minutes of my life I won't get back." It ended 0-0 and I think that would still have been the score had they still been playing.

All change, looks as though it is now regionalised. Certainly wasn't last year when Newcastle played Cheltenham, Fulham faced Middlesbrough and Rochdale travelled to QPR.

It's a farce. Both West Ham and Newport have asked for an away tie so Newport have been placed in the north group to avoid the two being drawn against each other. And Grimsby, should they beat Derby, will be seeded when they shouldn't be. Still, at least they are not going to Thailand to draw it as they did in the 1st round when Charlton were drawn out twice and a lot of the ties had to be changed after the draw had finished.
