Good little website listing all the expected seedings and draw formats. Some cracking potential games on there already.

I'm in Croatia for the first game.
Osijek and Rijeka would be a bit far/awkward, but Hajduk Split would be perfect.
3.5 hours by bus and they run every 45 mins from Dubrovnik.
Fingers crossed.

Anyone else got a holiday booked, where they are hoping they can fall lucky with the draw?

Dominican Republic for both legs of the Second Qualifying Round. Don't think flying back 3 days early for the second leg will go down too well!

If Australia can sing in Eurovision, then maybe there's time for DR to put in a late entry.

Christ, I know they are not very good but Rangers as an unseeded team wouldn't be the best draw would it?

Watch us draw Rangers/Aberdeen and our European Tour gets as far as Scotland, not that I wouldn't expect us to beat them under normal circumstances but competitive game during pre-season scares me.

Aberdeen would be a great draw in my book. Always wanted to go there but never got that far up.
Colburn - I was on holiday in Croatia last year with an Everton supporting friend, and they drew Hadjuk Split - we were staying in Istria and considered the 5 hour drive but there were a lot of restrictions on the movement of away fans; apparently a very hostile place for visiting football fans and not that much fun. For us, Rijeka would have been preferable.
I think that's a potential problem with a lot of Eastern Europe cities. I don't think we'll exactly be received with open arms!

Rangers or Aberdeen would be a great draw, much better than a team from Eastern Europe nobody has heard of. We would be guaranteed a full house home and away.
Both clubs would sell their allocation

some horror shows in there
3 unseeded clubs in Kazakhstan and 2 in Azerbaijan
Belarus, Giorgia & Bulgaria dont sound too inspiring either.
The Swedish teams would be interesting and see Ulvestad's team in there, plus, Rangers with Scotty.

We need the weakest possible opponents in these early stages, whether they be from Azerbaijan or Mars. Just get through to that group stage.

Can you imagine the spectacle of thousands of Rangers fans coming to the Turf doing their best to emulate Celtic's infamous visit...?

Dundalk, where my forefathers are from would be good from a personal point of view. Let's just pray for an easy passage through to the group stages...we want it to be a real tour, not the equivalent of a wet weekend away. I'm praying it's not Connah's Quay Nomads or somewhere I've already been, especially if we only manage the one round!!!

aberdeen would be one of the worst draws, they have a serious hooligan problem up there. 100% nailed on trouble if we draw them

You'll regret it if that's the week we play Luftëtari Gjirokastër! The town of Luftëtari is lovely at this time of year. (Or do I mean the town of Gjirokastër ?)

Interesting that the early rounds may be seeded geographically as well. Someone was telling me that on Sunday but I didn't think it was right. Anyway if it saves us a trip to Kazahkstan or Azerbaijan then I'm all for it!

It does focus the mind on how the club and many supporters are getting carried away with the "all going on a European tour" business.
We could fail to make the grade before I even go off on my summer holidays, let alone the start of the season.
Fingers crossed we have a run, but this could turn out to be the dampest of damp squibs! I'll hang fire on the excitement until this actually happens...

I've been told that as well. But on the other hand, last year a team from Israel had to play in Iceland in the qualifiers.

If we can't beat a Scottish team we don't deserve to be in it. Nothing at all to fear in Rangers or Aberdeen (apart from Rangers fans).

It looks a possibility to me, so we're almost bound to draw Jerusalem and have it played behind closed doors, or it be moved to another country!

Fail to make the grade?
In years to come the footballing history books will show that at the end of the 2017/18 season Burnley F.C. qualified for the Europa League and regardless of whether we get knocked out after our first set of games or make the final no-one can ever take away the fact that we are playing in Europe for the third time in our history.
Stop trying to put a downer on our achievement.

Yeah they're sh*t but they're the best team in the non seeded section which would make the worst possible tie for a team looking to qualify.

Simply not the point, when looking to qualify you hope for the easiest draw not the hardest possible one (especially during pre-season). Look at the ''s**t sides'' who English clubs have lost against in qualifying, a sold out Ibrox during pre-season for a competitive qualifying game would be a fkin nightmare for 2nd round qualifying when we could draw a minnow team.

Don't jump the gun - we haven't qualified yet to play in the Europa League, that's why they have qualifying games. You are not in the Europa League until you get through the qualifiers.

So you would rather us draw the best team from the other category every round because ''we could get eliminated by another team anyway''. Sounds pretty stupid, I want us to qualify for the group stages, I want the easiest possible tie every single round. Hopefully 3 ties against fat amateur pub teams. The competition starts for real when the groups get underway, then the holiday trips to the big stadiums can begin.

It's still the Europa League, even in the qualifying rounds. Just as clubs in the FA Cup qualifying rounds are still playing in the FA Cup.
