If we sign joe Bryan, where does that leave Charlie Taylor? Or are we now in a position to spend £6m on a third choice full back???

Get the impression from reports that Ward will only be with us for another year if that. When's Ward contract up? Bryan and Taylor could be long term replacements for him.
Not heard much of the Nigerian lad but has been previously linked with Liverpool and Newcastle.

If we go for the Nigerian lad can we have the flight tracker on the go again?

Ward has another year plus an option of a further year in club's favour

Moses Simon I had him in my Burnley team on FiFA 2016 PS3, what a coincidence and he is fairly fast

Wardy is slowing down and not as consistent as he was.We need to plan for moving on and Taylor looks a good replacement and the Bristol lad worth signing.

I see Bryan is with same agency as Wood, Barnes and Lennon among others (including previously reported target Matt Phillips), so perhaps and agency Burnley are comfortable dealing with.

Moses Simon looks pretty poor. As 4th choice winger he prob wouldn’t see much action but still looks a weak player similar to GKN.

I think we've seen the need in recent weeks to strengthen the left side of the defence (in Mee's absence).
Perhaps Taylor will be moved in to the middle, we'd then need cover at left back.
And it's good to see us looking at players we can develop and improve.

Never heard of him but if thats who SD wants then I am behind him. Although his youtube compilation videos are probably the worst and least inspiring I have ever watched when linked to a player

Don't get them started. If Taylor stays, he'll be one of our best players.scouseclaret wrote:If we sign joe Bryan, where does that leave Charlie Taylor? Or are we now in a position to spend £6m on a third choice full back???

Re: ARTICLE: Clarets linked with Nigerian winger and Bristolian full back
Reading the one team in Bristol message board, it seems unanimous in the fans’ eyes that Bryan is a better left midfielder than left back. There’s also a strong feeling that he has a poor second half of the season and generally they don’t seem too sad to see him go.

Hopefully not or we'll be getting reported like the Championship cry babies who reported Wolves/Mendes.Cubanclaret wrote:I see Bryan is with same agency as Wood, Barnes and Lennon among others (including previously reported target Matt Phillips), so perhaps and agency Burnley are comfortable dealing with.
