Apologies if this has already been posted, but an entry has just automatically appeared in my Outlook calendar
for Tuesday informing me that this season's fixtures are out on that day.

Can anyone confirm if this is true please ?

That is when the fixtures for the 2019/20 season will be released. ... The 2019/20 season will begin on 10 August 2019, with three new teams in the competition, and conclude on 17 May 2020.

The thread “article on dwight mcneil” opens with an advert for the link to put the fixtures directly into your calendars.
I also have a post on Tuesday that when opened says the fixtures are out on Thursday.

After this, I doubled checked mine and it too, when fully opened up, does indeed say that the date is Thursday !!!!

As you say, what was the point of doing that ?

The main thing is that we have an away game in London on August Bank Holiday Sunday, or Monday night. Then (while I'm down for the RL Challenge Cup Final) I can take in the game.

Last year Fulham (A), moved to Sunday for TV; two years ago, Spurs (A), moved to Sunday because it was at Wembley.

Next year's Challenge Cup Final is in July, so this is my last year for this particular request. Thank you.
