What a servant for the club over the years, loved the celebratory dance at Wembley - showed what it meant to him. Can't wish him enough continued success
as manager.

To play a massive part in three promotions to the Top Flight for Burnley FC has surely got to elevate him to near-legendary status. If he’d have played a part in keeping us in the Top Tier, just once, that Status would surely be assured.

I believe we should also keep an eye on Matty Taylor’s managerial career.

That article says it all about Dyche. Unbelievable stuff. I reckon he could well be our next manager...

Great article that.
Duffo is an intelligent lad.
He appreciates what Burnley gave him and his willingness to listen, take advice and learn from others has obviously benefited him as a manager.
As a player you can just see he was a managers dream - hard working and all about the team rather than himself as an individual.
If SD decides to leave in the next couple of years then replacing him is going to be very very difficult - for all kinds of reasons.
When you look out there as to who is available and who would come to Burnley then you have to ask yourself would you prefer a manager like Moyes, BFS or Pardew who do not give a flying f about Burnley as a club (and would all want big money) or do we want an up and coming young manager like Duff who knows the club inside out.
I know there are other managerial options out there too but it’s going to be a hard choice for the board as to which type of manager they go for.

I’m sure we will if he ever goes into management. He’s current just a few months into his first coaching role with the u18s at Spurs.
