There are far more important things than football and it is a crime in today’s world and in this country that people are starving. I was so proud to be able to make a donation yesterday from Up the Clarets. Dave (Everton) and Ian (Liverpool) are an inspiration. And our club and community could learn from those two clubs who support the collections superbly.
Couldn’t see any other explanation. Whether he did or didn’t carry the ball out, Scott Ledger could do no more than guess.Ashingtonclaret46 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 27, 2019 2:30 pmTony, that is exactly how I saw the Pickford incident and the following free kick because there did not seem to be any infringement at all.
I really appreciate your thanks.Bcap1959 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 27, 2019 2:49 pmAt the risk of being accused of sycophancy, can I thank you for all the match reports you produce. As I am now rather old and flacky and it is highly unlikely I will get to Turf Moor again given I live south of London, I thoroughly enjoy your reports. So all the best for the New Year and keep on producing the match reports.
I'm sure we will - 52 points from the last 38 Premier League games which is an incredible return to be honest given we'd 12 points from the previous 19.
Most likely if they’d taken as long as we did to take it. The minute was up and we were sauntering over without a care in the world. Our own fault and I’d hope Dyche gave them a rocket as it was a big opportunity to score a goal at a crucial time.ashtonlongsider wrote: ↑Sat Dec 28, 2019 8:11 amAnother incident in the game that I thought very strange was Taylor blowing for half time before the corner could be taken. Can't say Ive seen that for a long while. Again think he did because he got the original decision wrong. I just wonder whether he'd have done the same if it had been Everton.
I’ve posted it on the thread about the incident. The ball went out at 45 mins 34 secs and Taylor blew for half time bang on 46 mins.Swizzlestick wrote: ↑Sat Dec 28, 2019 8:45 amMost likely if they’d taken as long as we did to take it.
