You are limited as to how many trial games a player can play

If you're not watching this you're not missing a lot, as the stream is very poor. Even worse than Clarets+! The Villa commentators are being very complimentary about Mumbongo.

I knew there was some ruling but thought it was more than a couple of games

I’ve no idea how many, just thought the rule was in there.

Losing 2 - 1 on 23 mins.

Ignore that, still 1 - 1. Offside.

The og was Glennon and not Armstrong. Apparently they were wearing each others shirts! Mumbongo off at HT and Taranis on.

Wasn't confident today when I saw the line up with no central defenders, one central midfielder a load of full backs and strikers - but what a good result.

Looking at the table and the remaining fixtures, it is not beyond the realms of fantasy that Burnley could finish as runners-up to Leeds, although Stoke look the more likely to do that on current form and with games in hand.

However if that was the case, would Burnley be promoted to the Top Division?

Another great victory for our under 23's, and clinched with a last minute penalty to boot.

Given some of the fears that our youngsters would struggle at this level, they haven't half confounded expectations haven't they.

And along with the under 18's the future is promising for our developing players at long last.

Cracking start to the weekend, let's hope it continues in this vein.

I'm guessing Rooney is injured.
Good to see Rob Harker back, I like what I've seen of him (admittedly not a whole lot), and also Jordan Cropper.

Great result too.

The 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th placed teams go into play-offs for the 2nd promotion slot.

Hadn’t realised that - thought it was just Leeds that got promoted. Here’s hoping we can finish strongly.

Bans are same as first team bans I think so it looks as though Rooney got a three match ban. Nartey was sent off for denying a goalscoring opportunity so that will be a one match ban.
