Dwight makes the U21 Squad for Euros

No surprise really, but some of the others are.
Cheltenhams goalkeeper, I confess I have no idea how good he is, just surprised that if he is good enough, that he'd still be at Cheltenham.
Striker from PSV who I have never heard of, I'd spell his name but I'd probably make a mess of it.
Brewster, who has looked like he couldn't hit a barn door for Sheff U this season, very odd.

I hope Dwight gets game time, and the lads are successful, I think he needs these competitions to drive him on to that next level. It can only benefit Burnley, so long as he comes back injury free.

I thought it was an odd one, but I still hadn't heard of him.

Didnt Jack Butland get an England call up whilst on loan at Cheltenham ?

Boothroyd's a tactical genius. Remember his appointment at Watford and his first game was against us at Turf Moor. When we had a throw-in he had told his nearest player to jump up and down in front of the thrower. They still lost.

Still blows my mind that the country's finest young talent is entrusted to Aidy Boothroyd.

Can anyone Explain why Tom Davies makes the under 21 squad when he is 22 years old and 23 in June?

It's got something to do with being u21 during qualifying, or else you would often see teams that qualify change there squad due to players age.

It is great for Dwight to be recognised in this way.

It should be remembered that this summer all any player in the world needs is rest, these tournaments are taking place because of financial commitments and an awful lot of players are going to get injured and have serious impacts into next season (if not their careers as a result)

The fewer players our club has involved in them the better off our team will be next season

I don’t know, but this comment reminded me of when Joe Lewis was called up to the senior England squad when he was playing at League Two level for Peterborough. Seems even more odd in retrospect when you consider how his career has gone.

Brewster must have made it because he'd come from Liverpool, because he's done jack sh1t since being at Sheffield

I honestly think that is one of the best crop of U21 talent in the world. To think he could have included a number of other players as well but they are probably in the first team squad.

I imagine they will line up something like:

Ramsdale
Aarons, Godfrey, Guehi, sessegnon
Davies, Gallagher, McNeil
Smith Rowe, Greenwood, Hudson Odoi

Dwight will do well to start with Jones, Eze and Skipp in the squad but it highlights what a talent he is

Great News and well deserved for Dwight but a 2 week break would have been far more beneficial to him and the club. He has played far too much due to our small squad.

It is a strong squad on paper, but considering England are in a group containing Croatia, Portugal and Switzerland, and only the top 2 progress to the KO'S in the summer, it needed to be a strong squad.

Great for Dwight to get called up, and surely playing and training with players of this stature will only benefit his game in the long run.

And after that terrific display at Everton his confidence should be sky high.

England have traditionally been strong at this age group, the problem has been when players move up to the full international level.
