A good move you'd think. The lad is nowhere near Premier League standard currently but will be great if he can go there, bang a few in and improve.

Will be very interesting to see how he goes on in League One.

I wonder if either of Glennon or Benson will also be loaned out as I do not think they can now play for the first team unless named in the 25 and presently including them and Tarks we have 23, just room for two more signings unless players move on.

Hope it works out well for him and Accrington, whilst in the longer term we see benefits from Joel's ongoing involvement at league 1 level..

He will do well to nail down a place in the team ahead of Bishop and Charles, 29 goals between them.

I was just thinking that, they have two terrific mobile forwards in their team already.

Unless one is about to be sold. Hull have been tracking Charles for a while but will have to pay over 2m for him I think.

Good luck to Joel, Accy is a decent chance for him to impress, and if they produce the form they displayed last season he should have every chance of bagging a fair amount of goals.

This is probably as good an opportunity as an U23 striker could get for his first loan away. Good luck Joel.

Good start for the lad, I know it's only friendlies, but it's always important for strikers to make their mark early when they move to a new club.

As the match slowly drew to a close, Accrington grabbed their third of the game through Joel Mumbongo. The forward rounded off a good move and slipped the ball past Charlie Monks to seal the victory for John Coleman’s side
