I posted yesterday that I had four ready, one used, one won't be, one unlikely and one let's wait and see.

This looks a good signing to me.

Very very happy with this - what a cracking window this has been (I'd forgotten how much I missed being excited about signings)

Fantastic signing, fantastic window, and fantastic support from the new board to Dyche. Now slam it shut while we have all our players still on the books :)

This is the perfect type of signing for us, players running out of contract and getting them at cheaper than their true market value. Very astute way of running the club and long may it continue

Let’s not forget we haven’t sold anyone important either, which is just as crucial

Haven't seen him play so I dunno if he's any good or not. But it's another body. Another winger now please.

Really pleased with this signing. 25 year old international full back for what is believed to be a very cheap price in the current market. Roberts created the second most chances in the Championship last season behind Buendia who just went for 30m.

8.5/10 window now for me. Can we get another across the line today.

Just had a cursory glance at a Swansea messageboard. They're mostly dischuffed. One or two questioned how he's passed his medical as he's been injured. Apparently fully fit now and was in contention for a return.

Even if he’s still nursing a short term injury this wouldn’t be cause for him to fail his medical.

Expected to be fit by end of September but medicals can still be passed, they are looking at things far beyond an injury.

Another good addition to a needed area, brick by brick we're building a good side, a number 10 or a central midfielder and this window has been lights out 10/10

If we can bring in a good midfielder, it will have been a good window. As someone said we are building for the future again. Well done Mr Pace and the team.

Loads.

Notably Sam Vokes, Gareth Taylor and Kurt Nogan. We have another one here now as well in Hennessey .

Flynn, Coyne, Hennessey, Taylor, Vokes - Taylor & Vokes not actually Welsh but played for Wales

Excellent piece of business, sounds a real bargain at that price.

I don't think it's just down to digging deeper into the pocket, whoever has done our scouting this summer appears to be a lot more in tune, with what is available, what we can afford, and who will fit into our system.

We've done brilliantly over the last 3 years with very little change in the squad, it was desperate for new blood, and younger legs. That can't all be addressed in one window, but this is a hell of a big step in the right direction.

Hopefully AMN can convince Arsenal to let him go, it could be the icing on the cake, but with or without him, it's been a good summer.

Great signing in an area that is getting weaker as the days pass. Lowton and Bardsley have been excellent for us though.

Why do you have to spoil the party? The called usual suspects were mainly right about what needed to be done after several shocking windows. It's now been done, so let's all celebrate.

great interview with the lad on Clarets+ and seems very down to earth and just a sound lad.
Should fit into the group easily.
It was obvious we needed another RB with Bardsley only getting a 1 year deal and getting on a bit now. Lowts signed a new deal recently so with him and a younger RB pushing him it should be good competition for who gets the shirt in the coming/following season.
Welcome to Burnley!

Roberts to the local press at Swansea.

“I was privileged enough to play a handful of games for Swansea in the Premier League.

“We got relegated that year, which was heart-breaking for myself as a Swansea lad, but this is a different type of challenge for me now coming here.

“You've got players who have played many years in the Premier League, brilliant players, and it's going to be a challenge to firstly hopefully try and get in the team and play as many games as I can and I'm willing to do that.

“I’ve had amazing memories and will always love that [Swansea] club.

“Thank you to them, but I’m here now and it’s a new challenge and something I really want to make positive and the only way I can do that is by playing well and giving absolutely everything when I get called upon.

“Since I was a boy, I have always tried to rise to every challenge that gets put in front of me and this is another one.”

Looks like a "Why didn't we go for in him?" signing. Saw a little of him playing for Wales but nothing otherwise. But his CV is good, he's 25, gives us cover at RB and is also versatile as can play RM and RW. If it's £2.5m then it could be a steal.
