Discussion last night centered around 2 questions.
A/. When was the last time Burnley players started on opposing sides in an international match?
B/. Then it became; one of the teams must be England.
After 2.5 hours I think I have the answer to A/.
Anyone know?

Yes Google away.
In fact without Google I doubt I'd have got any answer at all. I'm not even sure my answer is correct. But after 2.5 hors I didn't care.

I had Scotland v Northern Ireland from August 2008. Graham Alexander for Scotland and Martin Paterson for Northern Ireland.

This got me thinking about Harry (Henry Watson)
Thomson who got two caps for Scotland in 1967, wondering if he'd faced any BFC players then. ...
Apparently not, he was on the Scots' tour of Asia and Oceania, playing Israel and the Aussies. Ah, well.

Those games have only recently been given full international status so it was only last year that Harry became a full international.

Gabor Kiraly finished with over 100 caps for Hungary I think. None as a Burnley player though and he didn't get his 100th until after he left.

108 in total, had 70 when he signed for us then went over three years until his 71st.
