Strongest Burnley XI (and 5 subs) from across all 8 seasons in the top flight

Might need a bit of research but here are the rules….
Burnley have played eight seasons in the Premier League since August 2009.
You need to pick a starting 11 + 5 subs (16 players)
You must use TWO players from each of our 16 seasons to form your squad.
Ie, you couldn’t include Collins, Cornet and Weghorst because that’s three from a single season.
Here are some links, if you need them….

I like the idea but as some players have played multiple seasons the 2 from any given season is impossible unless you only use players that have played a single season.

Jack Cork might prove useful, having played in our first and most recent…

Pope
Lowton-Tarky-Mee-Ward
JBG-Cork-Defour-Arfield
———Wood—Barnes
Edit - subs :
Heaton
C.Taylor
McNeil
Vokes
Hendrick
Also thought they had to have played 2 seasons in the PL - not just one and one elsewhere… if that’s the case Trippier and Ings in for Lowton and Barnes, and Marney/Barton make the subs

09-10. Alexander…Blake
14-15. Heaton…Trippier
16-17. Arfield…Keane
17-18. Defour…Tarkowski
18-19. Cork…Gudmundsson
19-20. Pope…Wood
20-21. McNeil…Wood
21-22. Mee…Rodriguez
Pope
Tarkowski…Keane…Mee(C)
Trippier…Defour…Alexander…Cork…Arfield
Wood…Blake
Subs. Heaton…JBG…Westwood…McNeil…JRod
No CB on the bench but any problem I’d go to 4-4-2.

Nice idea JD but I think you have made it a bit too complicated. Why not just the best 11 plus subs?

Pope
Trippier——Keane——Tarkowski——Taylor
Arfield—-Barton—-Defour——Cornet
Ings—————Gray
Subs:
Jenson—-Cork—-Wood—-Rodriguez——Mee
Think it is right but without edit and not being able to check while writing it is tricky.
Feels important not to have too many players from a relegation season in there, four from this season in the XI feels OK. Worth pointing out all four had crucial injuries this season, e.g. Pope and Cornet at Leeds, Tarky at the end etc. They stay fit, we stay up.
No McNeil in my sixteen, not enough end product, Arfield in ahead for all round game and big game mentality. Barton and Defour the best two midfielders I have seen playing for Burnley.
p.s. pace, pace, pace and I don’t mean Alan

Because that’s too easy and I know that CT is doing an all-time Premier League XI in the next week or so

They CAN have played across multiple seasons
You just need to make sure that in your sixteen you have got every season covered by two players who have played in a given season

Assuming I'm understanding this correctly and you can over select certain years provided at least two of the squad cover every year, rather than needing to pick two from each season:
2009-10: Blake, Elliott
2014-2015- Trippier, Ings
2016-2017- Barton, Keane
2016-2018- Heaton, Arfield
2016-2022- Mee
2017-2019- Defour, Cork
2018-2021- Tarkowski, Wood
2018-2022-Pope, Taylor
2021-22- Cornet
If I'm over complicating it with the over selection and it should be 2 per season, swap Keane for McNeil and should work.
Team:
---------Heaton-----------
Trippier Tarks Mee Taylor
Elliott Barton Defour Arfield
-----------Ings---------
----------Wood----------
Bench: Pope, Keane, Cork, Blake, Cornet.
Hard to leave out Boyd but it was that or have no CB or CM cover.
Could swap formation easy enough to 4231 by bringing on Blake/Cornet to partner Ings and let Elliott or Arfield venture either further up wide or central, or Cork on and move Defour into the hole. Could also swap to 433 with Cork in to the middle for Arfield, push Ings up top, and Cornet or Blake wide forwards for Wood and/or Elliott.
But I feel like with Arfields directness and clever runs between lines, Barton and Defours midfield control with Ings linking just in front, and Elliott and Trippiers combined delivery on the right for Wood to thrive on, we'd be a tough match for most teams.
