It’s going to take time for this side to gel.
We need to be patient and trust the process.
There. I said it.

There's goals aplenty in this team, just wait and see, someone's gonna get a right pasting.
25 year - old echo!

Loving these historic articles CT, the detail of local events really adds to the memories.
You might want to proof read your final paragraph though and make an edit.

On the programme who is number 11 David Ayres, I hope he will be a good signing!

I actually went to a Premier League game on this day - Everton v West Ham which I think ended in a one-one draw. Remember getting in my next door neighbour’s car afterwards near Goodison and being really downhearted after hearing our score on the radio.

Or remove it altogether, which I've now done. Not sure what on earth I'd done there.

Easily done.

I was definitely at that game and have a vague recollection that Roots Halls was one of the away ends that was still fenced at that time.
They must have come down fairly soon after?

As good as Marlow Beresford

Once had Brenda O'Connell on the programme at Rochdale - and Ayres (to give him his new name) was in the away end last night scouting.

This was my second visit to Roots Hall, the first being on a CT/Boxcar charra on a Friday night in January 1986. I don't remember much of the game in the Waddle season other than passing a Ferrari Testarossa on the drive up to the ground.

Mark Ford seems to be doing well so far, I always thought he was absolute bobbins.
Just looked up the little girl Chantelle, good to see she survived.

We won that night of the CT/Boxcar charts, 3-2 I believe. Fifteen years in a couple of weeks since Boxcar left us. I still miss the cantankerous old sod.

We did. Got home about 3am and I was working at Oddies bakery at 5am so no sleep that night. 15 years has flown by. Would the hat have survived that long?

York's defence looks a bit leaky. Reckon we'll score up there.
