Congratulations on the professional deal and best wishes for the future Joe.

He's done well and having a full season at u21 level at his age will stand him in good stead too. I wondered a few weeks ago whether he'd get a first team game once the title was won but there were only two games left so that sort of ruled it out.

He's been playing "above" his age category for some time now and I suspect other clubs might have been interested in him. Delighted for him and us.

Hopefully he will be the next one off our rather inconsistant conveyor belt.

He's from Liverpool. His Dad , Gary, played for Tranmere amongst others.

His dad played just one Football League game and that was for Tranmere. He then played in non-league.

There was a really good feature about him on Clarets Player a few months back

He came across extremely well. Seemed like an intelligent player who understands the need to be able to take on the detailed instructions that enable us to deliver such fluid football

Thats desperate news for him...wishing him a full and speedy recovery

We’ve not had too many of our youth prospects trumpeted too loudly in recent times, but the ones that are do seem to have terrible luck with injuries.
