There's no comparison between City's situation and Everton/Forest/Leicester. Apples and oranges.Funkydrummer wrote: ↑Thu Apr 11, 2024 5:14 pmMeanwhile, Citeh plod on regardless, and Everton remain, having been rewarded for offending twice.
You couldn't make it up.
To elaborate, the question with City is whether they have broken the rules or not - that itself is a massive legal case that will take months/years to decide. And that's before you even get to any punishment. The others have broken the rules - nobody is debating that - the debate is extent of punishment due to "mitigating circumstances".hetheclaret wrote: ↑Thu Apr 11, 2024 7:50 pmThere's no comparison between City's situation and Everton/Forest/Leicester. bonkers how many haven't cottoned on to the differences and I include loads of the media in that too, they've done such a poor job in conveying ithetheclaret wrote: ↑Thu Apr 11, 2024 7:50 pmThere's no comparison between City's situation and Everton/Forest/Leicester. Apples and oranges.
City is about fraud on a huge scale involving multiple companies - if found guilty it involves potential custodial sentences, the burden of proof required to convict is extremely high - hence the reason it is going to take a very long time, like you said, apples and oranges.hetheclaret wrote: ↑Thu Apr 11, 2024 7:52 pmTo elaborate, the question with City is whether they have broken the rules or not - that itself is a massive legal case that will take months/years to decide. Neither do I, but a judge does.Bin Ont Turf wrote: ↑Thu Apr 11, 2024 10:32 pmI don't need any conclusive evidence to know that a club like Man City with stupidly rich sand dwellers are bent.
More bent than a game of Snakes and Ladders between Vladimir Putin and Julian Clary.
Can't remember who said it but remember that comment, we got lucky that they don't hand out trophies in October
