That's good. Meaning that if we do get promoted we can have all of the starting 11. That's a better starting place than we had under VK.

Hmm I think I'd want to look at Adewumi here before considered moving him on seeing the success he's had at Dundee. Probably would agree on the rest, especially if we were to get promoted

Keep Ekdal and Adewumi. Latter loaned out again. Ekdal will be okay as back uo or in the middle of a back 3. We need a threat at set pieces.

The club never actually announced his permanent signing so no details ever released but transfermarket have him out of contract this summer so I went for that on here.

I’m unsure on Edward’s after the last few games, not sure I’d go for him if we end up in the prem? At times he sets the world alight but then other games you don’t see him. I guess that’s why he is at Burnley though and not the league above.

Having said that I think the option was 10/12million and that doesn’t buy you a lot so might be a decent deal.

He's alright but not sure he's any better than Worrall and certainly not Beyer if he can recapture fitness. Assuming the two current first picks are staying which you imagine they would if we go up, plus Humphries, it doesn't make any sense to keep him.

That is seriously good news. Given he's a CB by trade, the lad's been outstanding at FB. The experience of playing there will have helped him for the future.

It will probably be one of those 'undisclosed' fees that we never really find out much about. Probably heavily incentivised.
Still, a very good young player.

I think Edwards will suit the Prem more than the Championship, so fingers crossed on that one.
I also think Koleosho suited the Prem, but that might have just been that VK gave him more freedom to play?

Along with the loan players, it will be interesting to see if CJ and Browny sign new deals any time soon...

It may be that figure assuming all sorts of things happen, him playing for England, us qualifying for Europe, etc. So the true number is probably way less than £12 million.

That was what was reported widely but the flat fee was less than half that I'm told. There will likely be incentives as someone else mentioned but I don't have anything to share around that unfortunately.

He's done far more at 19 than any Burnley player I can remember of that age.

Interesting that Spurs apparently still own 35% of Edwards' rights according to FLW. If we're promoted then Spurs will pocket £3.3m from the reported £9.4m fee.

We are potentially a prem side in a week or so. That pretty much means he has no chance of breaking of through.

Looks a talented lad but at the same time he’s playing at an incredibly poor standard. Hopefully get him a loan into the championship next season and see where we go from there.

I don't get the championship is far higher in standard than the Scottish Prem. Celtic and Rangers would wipe the floor with us and Leeds and the lad scored against both.

They seriously wouldn’t wipe the floor, plus them two teams might be playing our standard but the rest 100% are not.

The rest are league 1 or potentially even lower standard.

I’d take Amdouni back but I believe that’s pretty much a done deal. Ekdal is ok but if Beyer gets fit he’s fifth choice - he won’t want to do that you’d suspect.Dodgson you’d assume is staying as he only signed a new deal in the summer from memory.

He's gone whether or not we get promoted, barring us throwing an astronomical sum at him, which I'd not be in favour of as much as I like him.

I've been told for a long time that he fancies playing abroad.

£12m for Bashir seems remarkably low especially as he's a Chelsea player.

Beyer, Redmond, Sambo, Sonne, Tresor, Benson, Agyei, Banel, Sonne, Worrall... we've got a load of players who have played very little this season.
I can't remember the contract situations of all of Massengo, Amdouni, Ekdal, Houtondji, Obafemi, Churlinov and Delcroix but this summer is probably going to need to see a massive turn over again.

Personally, would bring Massengo back. He's not quite had the chance to really have a go. If Browny decides he would like to move on, having Massengo and Hannibal around would allow them room to grow. Like with CJ, sometimes a gap leaves opportunities. Would also take Ekdal over Worrall but that's a Parker preference so he needs to move on. He's too good to be sat on a bench. Seen Adewumi a couple of times now. He's got bags of energy and decent skill levels. He should be kept. The other loanees I would try to sell.

Always thought he is an excellent Championship player but struggles to make an impact in the league above. If we go up we need to strengthen central midfield where we’re often found wanting at the higher level.

Both lads have great engines and are up for a challenge. Great attitude to the game, will to win. Hannibal is also skilful.

If we get promoted, I am hoping we don't see the turnover. These obligations help. The players have earnt their chance. If we get relegated again so be it. Some of our recent greats bounced with us in the Dyche relegation and then nailed the standard the second time round. As a club we need to allow that opportunity because we can't afford ready made. It will help with the recruitment as well. Replace any leavers and buy a couple of strikers and go with those that got us promoted.

Massengo can't get a start at Auxerre. I've seen him play live this season and he never seems to be quite up to speed. He's a super lad and was welcomed as a hero on his return to Auxerre but lost his starting place after a few games. I think he'll end up being an average Championship player at best.

Hannibal is different class.
