And Great Harwood who managed to lose their pro for a golden duck and still chased down Nelson's 185. Great game!

Was some knock for an amateur 134 in a 20/20.
Looks like you got quite lucky getting the Nelson Pro out when you did. He got a 35 ball hundred sub pro'ing against Padiham last week.
The Padiham lads were raving about him.

Batting at padiham is similar to batting in my bathroom though. Tiny

I was in my element playing at Padiham (mostly in the seconds or thirds).
The boundary towards the football field was extremely short. I had this bat which was about 2lbs 13oz (Slazenger V100 5*). Even a leading edge would go for six.
I once hit a ball way over the trees at the Arbories End and using Google maps I have measured the distance as being over 90m. Whilst admiring my shot I stepped backwards and demolished my stumps, ending up on my arse.

Tbf, the Nelson pro batted brilliantly with his 50 off just 20 balls and was crucially superbly caught in the deep. He looks a real good un with the bat, but like so many league pros at the moment, he really wasn't great with the ball which helped Hardwood's opener hit his 134.

It is a small ground but it fools a lot of people into getting out.
Most 6s hit on it would be 6 on any league ground, but if you cloth one, it usually ends in you being caught on the edge.
Where it would fall short and be a single at bigger grounds.
100s don't happen very often at Padiham or cricket in general and it takes something special for a pro to impress. They come with high expectations.
