I didn't see this mentioned last year, but last season they became the first team to certified as Carbon Neutral by the UN.

They've also appointed Hannah Dingley to run their academy.
Forest Green Rovers.

The good old Championship Manager days - always had a soft spot for them, just for that reason.

Re: Forest Green Rovers.
Took them up to the Prem with triple promotions on last year's FM - most fun I've had on it in years.
Ended up winning the Champions League after six seasons and building a new ground - made them bring back the meat pies though.

Re: Forest Green Rovers.
My best career was winning the Conference but I had to sell Alex Sykes as the ground wasn't big enough so wasn't allowed promotion. Won it again, then straight promotions and won the Champions League. By that time, they'd generated new names for the young players.DefourFiveSix wrote:Took them up to the Prem with triple promotions on last year's FM - most fun I've had on it in years.

Re: Forest Green Rovers.
Yes my secret to success really, was making a healthy profit year on year and using it to cherry pick the best teenagers on the cheap. Can get some good loans in from the big teams on your way up the ladder too, as well as some big names on frees at the end of their careers. Niko Kranjcar became a bit of a legend for me.FactualFrank wrote:My best career was winning the Conference but I had to sell Alex Sykes as the ground wasn't big enough so wasn't allowed promotion.
