Burnley and Crystal Palace are trying to sign midfielder Victor Camarasa from Real Betis, according to Sky sources.Boban wrote:https://www.skysports.com/share/10009512

A very unlikely Dyche player!IWOODLOVETT wrote:Tom Cairney.
I thought Palace had already signed according to some on hereFactualFrank wrote:Burnley and Crystal Palace are trying to sign midfielder Victor Camarasa from Real Betis, according to Sky sources.
Sky Sports News understands the 25-year-old, who spent last season on loan at Cardiff, is more likely to end up at Palace.
We can try all we like. If Palace want him, he's either going there or staying where he is.
Agreed and full of flair. Him and Mooy would be excellent in cm.Steve-Harpers-perm wrote:A very unlikely Dyche player!
We won't get anyone better as a 4th choice CB but I wouldn't stand in his way if he wanted more regular football at his age. Tarky is a different kettle of fish - it's £50m whether there is a release clause or not.
Cork going off injured today might force things along.Blyclaret wrote:I genuinely think we wont make any more signings.
Dyche can use Hendrick as the extra central midfielder
Oh my god you can pick 2 games ha well doneSpijed wrote:No he doesn't, games like West Ham and Spurs at home last season saw us play brilliant football !
It's quite likely that Hendrick will be needed again on the right. I can easily see both JBG and Lennon being injured at the same time.Blyclaret wrote:I genuinely think we wont make any more signings.

Can I just ask why you constantly slag off the club, week in, week out, without ever anything positive to say?BOYSIE31 wrote:Oh my god you can pick 2 games ha well done
You been slagging me off all week - so why the no show ??? **** football ???Lord Beamish wrote:In fairness, that’s whit I’m doing this year. I’m a bit jaded by Football in general, so have eschewed a Season Ticket and will be picking and choosing my matches, this term.
I'm still waiting for the next progression that's all - is that ok with youSpijed wrote:Can I just ask why you constantly slag off the club, week in, week out, without ever anything positive to say?
Just wondering that's all.
So nearly Caps Lock!BOYSIE31 wrote:You been slagging me off all week - so why the no show ??? **** football ???
Considering no club has ever achieved what we've done in recent times without unlimited funds I really don't know what you expect, I really don't!BOYSIE31 wrote:I'm still waiting for the next progression that's all - is that ok with you
Brady is made of glass, yes we need to spend.Granny WeatherWax wrote:Hopefully Brady and cork are ok but if not we need to get the cheque book out quick and strong. Question is does Dyche know a player ?
Progress? Progress doesn’t necessarily mean finishing 7th again. We need to keep strengthening to stay at this level and not stand still.Spijed wrote:Considering no club has ever achieved what we've done in recent times without unlimited funds I really don't know what you expect, I really don't!
We basically achieved the impossible by getting into the Europa league, so what more do you want?
What we can't get a couple of better players in each window and move players out ??Spijed wrote:Considering no club has ever achieved what we've done in recent times without unlimited funds I really don't know what you expect, I really don't!

Next level from finishing 7th?BOYSIE31 wrote:What we can't get a couple of better players in each window and move players out ??
That's how football works - aim for the next level
Considering he said Defour was touch and go and then never played again for the rest of the season it's safe to say he can spin a yarn or two.BOYSIE31 wrote:Anyway watched dyche interview and both long and tasks have slight injuries - is he a better bullshitter than Coyle - only time will tell if he is a good liar ha
Jesus stop mentioning 7 th it was a fluke season when a couple of bigger clubs under achieved and will not happen again.Steve-Harpers-perm wrote:Next level from finishing 7th?
Ah right so you mean a change in playing style rather then reaching the next level.BOYSIE31 wrote:Jesus stop mentioning 7 th it was a fluke season when a couple of bigger clubs under achieved and will not happen again.
No progression means playing more freeflowing football
A mixture of both but will only happen with better playersSteve-Harpers-perm wrote:Ah right so you mean a change in playing style rather then reaching the next level.
Progression after that season for me would have been able to play a little more attacking football (like we did before Defour & Brady got injured) whilst comfortably being a 10th-15th teamSteve-Harpers-perm wrote:Ah right so you mean a change in playing style rather then reaching the next level.
Leicester, topped them all ...never say never it's a funny old game .Blyclaret wrote:A top 6 in unachievable not only for Burnley

That leaves 3 forwards.BOYSIE31 wrote:Looks like wells is ahead of vydra - both need to go

I quite agree with that analysis-I would go so far as to say there will be 14 clubs in the prem who won't make the top 6 this seasonBlyclaret wrote:A top 6 in unachievable not only for Burnley

What we ended up was a side fighting to survive and having to resort to the backs to the wall and boot it up to two big men style that we used successively to stay up the first time
That to me was a step backwards born out of two poor transfer windows. If we dont get a good centre midfielder I think we've stalled again and will spend another season just trying to keep 3 teams below us.
Luckily we have a manager who gets so much out of the players he's got he covers over the cracks from our recent poor recruitment and I think he will keep us up again. That said after the freakish season of coming 7th I feel the club missed a good opportunity to build on it
Finally regardless of the above comments the fact that we are even competing in this league is a miracle and something I am very thankful and appreciative of but that doesnt mean we cant criticise and highlight things we feel could improve us
