Before I attempt to read them all, has there been any real links or is it all waffle?
Mainly squabbling, calling people names and happy clapping / doom and gloom (pick your side).

Do you have any evidence whatsoever, beyond the febrile imaginations of your mind, that we have had any serious offers of Outside Investment?

SKY SPORTS

Chelsea Midfielder Danny Drinkwater is travelling to Burnley ahead of a season long-loan, thought to be 50-50 wages.

What's the point of that?
'Bournemouth's Nathan Ake and Burnley's James Tarkowski have been earmarked as the leading candidates, with a reported bid of £20m for Tarkowski rejected yesterday'

80m for Maguire and offer 20m for a same stature player?

The question is do Garlick and co not trust themselves to find a suitable investor or are they happy keeping it to themselves and seeing us struggle to sign players and achieving beyond our means every season? We can only tread water for so long before we will be found out. It's a noble cause trying to do it the way we are and as it is we have managed it but at some point we either have to find an investor or we will end up sliding back down the leagues. Unfortunately it is the way football is..like it or not.
There must have been enquiries to invest. A premier league club with smalltime owners are ripe to be invested in.

In his defence, he may just be repeating something he’s been told on good faith without checking (I did it myself last week).

If he is just making stuff up for a laugh though, he’s a prick.

Can CT or the Moderators not issue temporary bans for those who constantly invent untruths regarding transfers?
It's not funny. It's childish and it ruins threads. I'm tired of reading rubbish on here.

Fits the criteria, 32, cheap, good in the dressing room, leader, no resale value, no better than what we have.

If any of the rumours this week are most likely to come off, it's this one.

BREAKING NEWS

Manchester United have turned down a bid from Everton to take Chris Smalling on a season-long loan.

Wonder if Everton forums have gone in to absolute meltdown at this
